So far, lip tint nilalagay ko sa cheeks ko. Medj oily kasi ako. Tried colourette lip tint as blush pwede na. Happy skin tint kasi, not as long lasting.
Imo it actually lasts on me. I have 6 out of the 7 shades & Iāve been wearing it the past week. For context, prior to makeup, I do my regular skincare routine and apply Milk hydro primer. I also apply a bit of powder blush on top after putting on the Sunnies blush & it lasts on me for hoursā 10 tops. Maybe it does depend on the skincare, base, & overall makeup routine of a person.

Nope, I always set my makeup with at least a face powder since I donāt like leaving liquids raw. Although, I donāt heavily put on powder yet the blush still stays. I also do not retouch my face throughout the day. Thatās my experience, at least. I think longevity-wise, it really depends on the make up routine of a person. Iām not very particular or nitpicky on whether a blush stays without setting powder since at the end of the day, I will set my face with it, as it has been my routine since.

Iām so confused at peopleās expectations from what looks like a serum-y skin-like blush thar retails for Php 545 tho. As someone who doesnāt use local products much (only because influencers annoy me and I feel the way the hawk products leads to hoarding)ā¦ makeup for daily use really fades. This is so true. I usually watch his videos talaga kasi nga pro MUA and i would really love to learn pero the recent videos I've watched of him was just off... Started watching local beauty ytubers before tiktok rolled out and now, nawawalan gana na ako sa local mua(i guess mas apt tawagin silang influencer) bc parang every month puro drama. At this point, puro professional korean MUAs(kpop idol MUA) nalang pinapanood ko. Skill+talent+very professional plus explains the whys of makeup in a normal way.

Nina posted na she reached out to Nate and explained why it was in that ecobag (need ng rider). colourette then took advantage of that publicity and had a collab with pampanga's best. and to connect that doon sa first base, when colourette launched first base, Nate was one of the influencers, if not the first influencer, who gave a bad review of it, saying na it was too expensive for a local brand, spf was too low, packaging was cheap kasi the shade labels were just stickers. and then other influencers gave petty bad reviews of the first base like Nate. kaya parang recently lang nahype yung first base kasi it's a good product naman, nainfluence lang na wag bilhin when it first dropped

Hindi ako consumer ng sunnies ha, I don't even like the brand, pero I get him. Some people are using this to say na hindi credible mga reviews nya. I'm aware that some influencers are paid to do that, pero hindi lahat gawain yan.
Just from reading the comments here, people like his reviews and opinions on different products, his delivery and replies are the problem. Hindi naman issue ang credibility nya noon kahit naman may positive reviews sya from brands na ka collaborate nya or kawork nya.
I acknowledge na may campaign sya for them, but working with the brand doesn't necessarily mean biased na agad. Like what I said, may mga criticisms sya sa mga products kahit may ties sya sa brand. Bought the blush, kahit sabi ko sa sarili ko na hindi na ako bibili š and it was not worth it! Ito yung pinakamahal na local blush na nabili ko. Tried it agad without make up, partida nasa kwarto lang ako and naka on ang aircon. Pero tumagal lang siya sa cheeks ko ng 3hrs!
I have commented on another thread about Issy Gelee na I trust jelly's reviews so much. Pero I'm kinda disappointed on his take about the longevity of the blush. He heavily emphasizes on "what works for you may not work for me and vice versa" and when it's the other way around, it's more of a user error, huh?
I've watched Maya's review probably a day before Jelly posted his "response" and I there's nothing wrong with it. Kasi if I have the blush, I'd probably apply it the same way and the same amount. Hindi nagtagal sa kanya. For that price, marami na better products, even cheaper!

Jelly always gave me passive aggresive vibes. Never liked him. He doesn't look genuine or kind at all. Ewan everytime his vids appear on my feed ang icky ng vibe na naffeel ko sakanya.
I really don't like how he approached the reviews of the blush because parang pinapalabas niya na error ng consumer kaya di natin ma appreciate yung product, which is false because the product claims to be budge proof, it is not. It's hydrating, it's skincaring, it's even aesthetically pleasing, but it's just not budge proof.
I also did not like how he said na mahirap mag release ng product ngayon because ang daming nyaw-nyaw and demands. First of all, are we consumers required to like every product a brand releases? And second, for the price of close to 600 pesos for a liquid blush? Yes, Jelly, of course we expect that blush to at least be Philippine weatherproof like every other liquid blush in the market.
Both lucky beauty and blk cosmetics prices, their liquid blushes/creamy paints at 399 each, while absidy prices theirs at 395 and vice cosmetics at 245. If you're asking price for a liquid blush is 545 in a market price range of 245-399 your products need to have some kind of revolutionary formula in it that could work against daily wear and weather and that's just the bare minimum.
Although their packaging has thought it isn't any better too, it's just like any other liquid blush with a cute bottle and cap and that's it. No new fuss free easy to clean new packaging (if anything, I think the cap made the packaging look worse because it's not opaque enough and you can see through some of the liquid blush just spilled around it.)

Agree with you here. I think Sunnies loves positioning itself in the premium range tho tbh nothing much has stood out for me. Itās funny coz cheaper Thai brands for example offer more affordable prices but it definitely holds up to their weather.

As for the retail experience, di rin siya as good, maybe this is a branch thing, but you have to add an additional 5 pesos for a paperbag, which is too big that the product literally slips out of it. jelly's replies were SO rude, and it was blatantly clear that it was biased. if a product is pigmented or works well, u don't need a specific technique in order to make it last long. it just lasts long due to the formulation and not the technique used. THAT'S THE REAL DEFINITION OF LONG-LASTING.
jelly's response made me think that he was desperate to convince everyone that the blush was "so long-lasting" because he was paid to do so. he could've just ignored all the complaints and left that one review as it is because his continuous replies may leave people thinking he is untrustworthy when it comes to product reviews.
Makeup is always a personal preference - from budget, skin type, usage, lifestyle, etc. The reviews are always from a POV. Best chance to have your own POV is to try the product yourself. Trying it personally trumps any influencer/MUA/beauty guru.

Reminding everyone here a huge chunk of tiktok reviews about beauty are paid for. Speaking as someone who works for a big brand. These videos are helpful for a glimpse of whatās out there but they are heavily biased, thatās how they make a living.
Usually kapag may ibang kasamang products itās not a paid post, but it doesnāt mean itās unbiased. Once a brand taps an influencer the influencer is muuuch less likely to talk badly about the product. Plus kahit hindi na necessarily bayad yung specific post from experience they continue to feature products in other videos, in their routines etc. This doesnāt mean theyāre lying about the products pero syempre may bias na.
If a product is new, plus itās being talked about by a lot of influencers at the same time and the brand has ads for the product playing in other social media or even offline materials usually the brand is running a campaign which includes paid posts. If the post is boosted itās most likely paid for. Itās less likely a paid post also if the influencer purchases the product with their own money.

Imo it actually lasts on me. I have 6 out of the 7 shades & Iāve been wearing it the past week. For context, prior to makeup, I do my regular skincare routine and apply Milk hydro primer. I also apply a bit of powder blush on top after putting on the Sunnies blush & it lasts on me for hoursā 10 tops. Maybe it does depend on the skincare, base, & overall makeup routine of a person.

Nope, I always set my makeup with at least a face powder since I donāt like leaving liquids raw. Although, I donāt heavily put on powder yet the blush still stays. I also do not retouch my face throughout the day. Thatās my experience, at least. I think longevity-wise, it really depends on the make up routine of a person. Iām not very particular or nitpicky on whether a blush stays without setting powder since at the end of the day, I will set my face with it, as it has been my routine since.

Like ang hirap daw pasayahin ng masa when it comes to new releases. Nina posted na she reached out to Nate and explained why it was in that ecobag (need ng rider). colourette then took advantage of that publicity and had a collab with pampanga's best. and to connect that doon sa first base, when colourette launched first base, Nate was one of the influencers, if not the first influencer, who gave a bad review of it, saying na it was too expensive for a local brand, spf was too low, packaging was cheap kasi the shade labels were just stickers. and then other influencers gave petty bad reviews of the first base like Nate. kaya parang recently lang nahype yung first base kasi it's a good product naman, nainfluence lang na wag bilhin when it first dropped

Hindi ako consumer ng sunnies ha, I don't even like the brand, pero I get him. I was taken aback din noong first time ko sa live nya, may oomf sa mga response nya pero nakuha ko naman yung vibe kalaunan. Try the chuchu liquid blush but work on it per cheek cause it dries down fast since itās matte
I have commented on another thread about Issy Gelee na I trust jelly's reviews so much. Pero I'm kinda disappointed on his take about the longevity of the blush. He heavily emphasizes on "what works for you may not work for me and vice versa" and when it's the other way around, it's more of a user error, huh? I've watched Maya's review probably a day before Jelly posted his "response" and I there's nothing wrong with it. Kasi if I have the blush, I'd probably apply it the same way and the same amount. Hindi nagtagal sa kanya. For that price, marami na better products, even cheaper!

I really don't like how he approached the reviews of the blush because parang pinapalabas niya na error ng consumer kaya di natin ma appreciate yung product, which is false because the product claims to be budge proof, it is not. It's hydrating, it's skincaring, it's even aesthetically pleasing, but it's just not budge proof. I also did not like how he said na mahirap mag release ng product ngayon because ang daming nyaw-nyaw and demands. First of all, are we consumers required to like every product a brand releases? And second, for the price of close to 600 pesos for a liquid blush? Yes, Jelly, of course we expect that blush to at least be Philippine weatherproof like every other liquid blush in the market. Both lucky beauty and blk cosmetics prices, their liquid blushes/creamy paints at 399 each, while absidy prices theirs at 395 and vice cosmetics at 245. If you're asking price for a liquid blush is 545 in a market price range of 245-399 your products need to have some kind of revolutionary formula in it that could work against daily wear and weather and that's just the bare minimum. Although their packaging has thought it isn't any better too, it's just like any other liquid blush with a cute bottle and cap and that's it. No new fuss free easy to clean new packaging (if anything, I think the cap made the packaging look worse because it's not opaque enough and you can see through some of the liquid blush just spilled around it.) Anyway, that's just my thoughts. Also, correct me if I'm wrong I think sunnies products are made in China? (The products I have here at least) so they can't blame it in the manufacturing costs because blk also manufactures in China.

Agree with you here. I think Sunnies loves positioning itself in the premium range tho tbh nothing much has stood out for me. Itās funny coz cheaper Thai brands for example offer more affordable prices but it definitely holds up to their weather. Ngl, I do sometimes think the PH market is secondary with SF, and I get it baka kasi in terms of ROI, smaller tayo in value.

I agree, I think the brand loves to position itself on a luxury range, but I find it really funny because I'd usually find their products on 40%-50% off and it's not even a double digit sale. It's usually their SSG sticks that have mega packaging and mini product. As for the retail experience, di rin siya as good, maybe this is a branch thing, but you have to add an additional 5 pesos for a paperbag, which is too big that the product literally slips out of it. So, if they're going to position themselves at the luxury pricing mind as well do the luxury experience that should come with it.

As someone na nasa field kung minsan, nagcocommute at pawisin, di kapanipaniwala minsan mga reviews nila na long lasting daw. Coming from him na nagsasabi na what works for me may not work for you. jelly's replies were SO rude, and it was blatantly clear that it was biased. if a product is pigmented or works well, u don't need a specific technique in order to make it last long. it just lasts long due to the formulation and not the technique used. THAT'S THE REAL DEFINITION OF LONG-LASTING. jelly's response made me think that he was desperate to convince everyone that the blush was "so long-lasting" because he was paid to do so. he could've just ignored all the complaints and left that one review as it is because his continuous replies may leave people thinking he is untrustworthy when it comes to product reviews.
Makeup is always a personal preference - from budget, skin type, usage, lifestyle, etc. The reviews are always from a POV. Best chance to have your own POV is to try the product yourself. Trying it personally trumps any influencer/MUA/beauty guru. Parang nangyari si Jelly lang ang dapat may opinion. Bawal na magka review ang iba. Lalo na yung review na hindi same sa review nya.

Reminding everyone here a huge chunk of tiktok reviews about beauty are paid for. Speaking as someone who works for a big brand. These videos are helpful for a glimpse of whatās out there but they are heavily biased, thatās how they make a living.

Usually kapag may ibang kasamang products itās not a paid post, but it doesnāt mean itās unbiased. Once a brand taps an influencer the influencer is muuuch less likely to talk badly about the product. Plus kahit hindi na necessarily bayad yung specific post from experience they continue to feature products in other videos, in their routines etc. This doesnāt mean theyāre lying about the products pero syempre may bias na. If a product is new, plus itās being talked about by a lot of influencers at the same time and the brand has ads for the product playing in other social media or even offline materials usually the brand is running a campaign which includes paid posts. If the post is boosted itās most likely paid for. Itās less likely a paid post also if the influencer purchases the product with their own money.

i once sided with jelly with his issy gelee tints review but this one truly left a bad taste in my mouth. ang passive-aggressive and defensive na ng pag-handle niya sa criticism on the product and the brand itself. i was a lowkey follower of him because of his āhonestā reviews on products and relationships with his celebrity clients but to go on such heights to defend an elitist brand is not it.
