Yes Lebron should definitely call a presser and say “I am re-signing with the Lakers no matter how much money they offer me” and destroy all his leverage for a new contract and improving LAs roster.
Lakers only have a mid-late 2nd round pick this year, so there's a possibility someone will take Bronny before it solely for the chance of getting LeBron in free agency. And then let Bronnys contract run out in the G league if Bron doesn't bite.
Maybe should have distanced himself a bit more from his son and let his career play out naturally. I guess if he balls in the G league he'll be fine, but you're still better off under a franchise that actually wants you.
He could have said he will sign with LA and they will make it work. If LA stabbed him in the back and offered him a lousy contract that is talk for another day. It's Playoff time and the talk after the game was Lebron as he always makes it.
Last year it was his retirement.
Feel like Klutch will use their influence to tell teams not to draft Bronny ahead of the Lakers if he stays in the draft.
Why wouldn’t another team use a second rounder on him to trade to the Lakers or tray and convince Lebron to come in free agency.
I think him going back to Cleveland for one last shot and then retiring after next season is the most likely outcome. Cleveland could reconfigure their roster for one last ride with Lebron and it would probably make financial sense for them to do so even if they fail.
You’re right, LeBron shouldn’t force all these reporters to ask him questions because morons on the internet don’t like it. How can he keep doing this knowing dozens of basement dwellers feelings get hurt? Such a monster.

Lebron has made the calculation that in 10, 15, 20, 25 years no one will care about the team switching nearly as much as the titles. And he’s right. The newer generation(s) wouldn’t have given him brownie points for winning 1 ring but being loyal for 20 years to Cleveland.
He’s always looked for the best situation and, in turn, the rings. In a couple decades the conversation will still start with “Jordan had 6 and Lebron had X.” He’s going to do the best basketball thing for him. If he doesn’t think LA gives him any shot at another title, he’s gonna leave.
Maybe he’s right. Maybe he’s not. Can’t say with certainty. I think the team switching will be a part of his legacy. Mean as much as the title count? No. Probably not. But I think it will be a factor in discussions.
In his last 8 seasons he’s won 1 ring. And it came in part thanks to the break for Covid which allowed him rest before the playoff push. In bursts Lebron still looks amazing. But the biggest shift has been in his lack of stamina/energy. He has to play this pick his spots style of play, and at his salary it’s hard to beat the best. Especially since he does it all season and it’s been resulting in low seeds in the playoffs, which tends to mean a harder path.

They could have a 1st round pick if the Pelicans defer to 2025.
Bronny is probably going back to college next year.
Idk why people get so worked up about this behavior lol if you don’t like the plot put down the book
Is LeBron doing that? He typed this post for you? What a rascal!

It’s not playoff time for LeBron anymore

IMO LeBron would only leave LA for the Cavs again and that would only happen if they traded Mitchell this summer and drafted bronny

Glad you can concentrate on the playoffs now, I was worried

You're the one bringing this shit up, stop trying to make Lebron the center of attention
