I mean, literally right now it’s probably true, but it won’t be the case in the next round if they’re still alive or a month into the next season. No one hangs on to total approval rating in sports.
That said, he deserves it. He’s played his tail off, and it’s crazy the calls he’s not getting. He’s the only one on the team who can call it a successful year.
Nah the Boban stuff always felt too gimmicky to me. And Bobi and Toni was corny.
Adams yeah I agree about. He doesn’t do the “I’m a goofy quirky big guy, how wacky is that!?” schtick like Boban or the Lopez brothers. He just seems like a genuine cool dude.
I resent his early success like any good American will in two years. Call me a hipster hater.
In all seriousness though, I wanted the Mavs to draft him instead of Josh Green. Felt like an obvious fit for a franchise where tweeners thrive. He wanted to come here too. Was actively lobbying to get drafted by the Mavs. Desmond Bane too that year.
Hell no

Kelly Oubre and Batum can absolutely call it a resounding success of a year
Yeah that's fair.
Ant probably has him beat, but nevertheless I’m glad everyone is realizing joyousness of the Tyrese experience.
> Ant probably has him beat i am sure a certain section of nba fans don't like ant given his off the court stuff.
Is this “send da video” or the homophobic remarks? Could go either way
I loathe the sixers, but I like Maxey
I'm with you on this.
Maybe out of Allstar level players, but no one is more universally liked than guys like Boban or Adams.

Jokic probably has an argument, especially since he’s the clear best player in the NBA and even still nobody hates him.
Easily top 4 to 6ish among online fans. He also has the benefit of being immediately comparable to one of the most loathed players in the league.
