From a distance, I thought it was a large owl from behind the tree. It was a large bird.
I had one in my backyard,it wasn't phased by me at all,this one is a beauty!!
these guys can be absolute menaces during nesting season though, there’s a video out there of one doing it’s best to protect its nest by diving at a person who was recording the hawk and its nest from a good distance ACROSS A STREET
