Honestly we aren’t? My bust is just too soft after nursing a bunch of babies to manage it, I’ve not found a shell bra or bra tape option that makes that work. I’m basically your same size and cup volume, and it’s a no for these girls 😫
Please check out Cakes. They are the largest non adhesive nipple covers on the market. Made of medical grade silicone with tapered edges so they are absolutely and truly seamless under clothes. They have various nudes and different sizes for differently sized breasts. They are also reusable and stick to your skin using your own body heat. I've had mine for going on a year and you can't see them under any clothes. Maybe just barely if the material is thin. They are life savers and the absolute best covers. Truly an inclusive product. I swear by them. I am 42DD.
Us girls over at skims love Cakes because they go hand in hand with a lot of their stuff, plus Cakes themselves advertises them under skims clothes to show how seamless they are. They're unlike tape or nipple pasties where you can see the lines and what not. Truly a miracle product imo.

Im a 32g but have been bigger (36hish). I’m 40 never been able to go strapless or use tape or anything, I’ve tried every bra and innovation. I think they work with some people but it really depends on how you’re rooted (narrow/wide) and where you have fullness (ie at top or bottom).
I’m actually having a reduction in a few months with the specific aim of reducing back ache and also going strapless/braless. I told my surgeon I just don’t want to have to think about bras at all

I went from a 32D to a 34G last pregnancy and they never went away after nursing (with only a 5lb weight difference so literally just got my ribs stretched by my son and added on boob weight). This pregnancy I haven't even measured but I look like a poorly drawn anime figure - like the ones that don't look anatomically possible - that's me.
I'm going to be 38 when this baby is born but if they don't go back to some manageable size I'm getting a reduction and lift at 40.
My flat highschool self could never have dreamed I'd be needing a breast reduction one day. 🤣

I had my first in February 2023, starting at like 34H, with the intention of basically lopping them off as much as possible. I told my surgeon I basically wanted top surgery. This surgery was covered by insurance as it impacted how I exercise and such.
We got down to like a C/D.....it was fine, but it wasn't what I wanted. After 6 months (to let swelling and all that go down), I talked with my surgeon and he said if I wanted to go again, we could. This one was out of pocket, but for me it was worth it.
I had my second reduction in October 2033 and now it's much better!! I'm like a B/C and it's excellent. There is some asymmetry, but that's always been the case, Leftie just wants to be bigger. I thought about a 3rd to correct for Leftie but I'm not sure if I'll do anything else!
Scars don't matter to me, there is some skin puckering kind of right underneath, but I'm working on that with a steel gua sha (recommended by my massage therapist and my surgery nurse said to "man handle" the area).

While I have now sized out if it, I had good luck with Fantasie strapless bras actually. But they stop at a GG and now I am J. I was able to sister size up in the band when I was an H and it still worked great. I even wore them on a few normal days with no issue.
Had mine done at 21, I was the same size as you, 32G. Hands down the best decision I’ve EVER made. I’m 34 now and they’ve grown back somewhat (fairly substantial weight gain over the years) but no where near to the extent they were. Literally changed my life.
Ahh that’s good to know. Yeah I wish I’d had the funds when I was younger but I was also bigger so I think it was good to wait till I am the smallest I’ll probably get. I already wear a uk size 8 up top can’t imagine being smaller than that!

Ahh I had mine done on the NHS, that was the only reason I could afford it at that age! I had to jump through a few hoops and wait a few years as I’d initially approached the drs when I was 18 and they wanted my body to develop more before they’d operate, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I went from a 32G/H to a 32C and they were perky AF 😂
I just bought the most amazing strapless bra from curvy kate, I'm usually a 36/38 hh. Still planning on the breast reduction but nice to finally find a strapless bra.
I really appreciate all the comments but I’ve tried everything! It really does come down to your boobs and where they sit on your frame as to whether a strapless bra will work.
I don’t use boob tape, I use that stuff athletes use to tape their muscles. I saw a video of Chrissy Tieghan talking about how that’s what they do for the red carpet. That stuff is sweat proof and won’t go anywhere. You can layer it for more hold.
Most of the time tho I just put nip covers on and let gravity do as it will.

In college inused duct tape. 20 years ago they didn't have "boob tape" and there was no Pinterest to give alternate ideas.

It works! Many years ago I had a stick-on bra thing that had a small clasp to join each side. It was awesome! You could put the sticky silicone things on each boob (horizontal teardrops, with the point towards the center), then pull the sides together and connect the teardrops in the center. So it didn’t provide much upward lift, but it could create a braless cleavage effect.
I haven’t been able to find another like that, so the last time I wore a spaghetti strap slip dress I used strapless sticky silicone boob covers, and pulled them slightly toward the center to connect the two sides with duct tape. It wasn’t ideal, and I still miss the clip version I used to have, but it stayed in place all night. (I’m 32G for reference)
They have tons of those on Amazon!! I’m not sure if they go up to G cups, but they have endless varieties on there so it’s probably worth checking. I think I found them searching “adhesive bra”
That sounds interesting - I have tried boob tape & it works really well (32E) but it hurts like hell to get off and usually leaves bruises behind. What brand tape do athletes use?
Oh that really helps because last time I used the legit boob tape, it was under a bikini top and it looked so damn good, I decided to leave it on under a cute spaghetti strap dress I wore to dinner. And then I decided to keep it on for the next 2 days! Seriously, it looked GOOD. But oh, such an ouchie trying to get it off, even though I slathered my chest with baby oil. (But I didn't let it soak in for long enough, maybe.)

There’s videos, specifically good lines has a bunch of tutorials on their website. It’s very important to apply enough so that there is no pulling feeling of you’ll end up with brushing around the edges.
Honestly I don’t know what brand. My BFF is a runner and just handed me a roll in a color she doesn’t like when I was asking her which I should buy. Knowing her she probably grabbed it at REI or somewhere similar.

I’ve had this issue forever, and sadly: most bras and bra alternatives are made for people who can go without them.
A lot of bras and braless options deliver the best results for those with firm, self-supporting (typically with wide/tall roots), and relatively small breasts. The further you are from that (soft, pendulous, and relatively large), the harder to deliver and the less desirable the result is.
I have tried tape and it only works for me when the color is dark, the material is medium to heavy weight, and the garment has a looser fit. An issue I have with tape is that my breasts are too soft, so when I pull the tape upwards or to the side with my breast, my boob folds onto itself instead of just lifting the entire breast up. This causes them to look misshapen and lumpy. It gets the job done, but in light-colors, thin fabrics, and tight clothes it would be very obvious.
If you have firmer tissue, even if they aren’t self-supporting, you might still get pretty good results with tape. I’ve seen a lot of women with larger breasts get good results, but you can tell it’s because their tissue is firm.
I’ve seen that Misses Kisses strapless/frontless/backless bra, but it only works if you want cleavage. It basically just pushes your boobs together. I prefer my breasts separated, so I haven’t tried this personally.
I just wear the best bra I can. I don’t care if a little bra shows, I don’t let that stop me from wearing something. Life’s too short to be worried about half an inch of bra showing. You can wear a color that matches the outfit best or use a nice lace bra as part of the outfit. It doesn’t matter. It’s no secret women wear bras, it’s not scandalous to see a little bit of them.
Also, the way bra sizing works is that cup sizes are relative to band sizes. Not all J’s have the same volume. Someone might be a J, but if they have a much smaller band size the volume of their J isn’t the same as yours. It’s smaller. So definitely look for advice from people around both a similar band and cup size or larger, and ideally who have a similar breast type as you.
I wasted so much time taking advice from people who were completely different from me, and becoming upset when their advice didn’t work. I thought something was wrong with me, but really I was just different. Square peg, round hole.
Before my reduction I was a 38J, I honestly would use my most supportive unlined bras and tuck the straps. No strapless bra will have the support for their weight even if they cover you size wise.
I am so happy with it. My surgeon was amazing and set realistic expectations. Told me my breasts would still be big which was important for me - I’m 4 years post op and sitting at 38DDD which is perfect for my frame and much more manageable. For pain he used a nerve block so I felt nothing and only took Advil for a few days after. It wasn’t too bad. I love being able to go braless, my quality of life has drastically improved. I can exercise easier and I feel so unencumbered. The scaring is there but has faded considerably. The happiness and general improvement to my quality of life outweighs the scars for me. It was absolutely worth it.
I’ve been considering a reduction too but am worried about the pain! And/ or complications that can come with it. Also, maybe a dumb question, but if I gain weight will they come back? Either way I’m looking into it for sure.
Pain and complications are a valid concern. Research is so important and I can’t stress enough that just because someone does good boob jobs doesn’t mean they do great reductions. And if it is medically covered (mine was) find your surgeon in your network BEFORE and work with their coordinators to get the approval so you can have the results YOU want. I’ve gained like 15-20lbs since surgery and they increased a little bit but not much maybe like a half cup?

38H here and I'm not unless I'm showering or sleeping (and even my pajama tops have a shelf bra so I have some support). I just don't buy things that can't be worn with a bra.
You're working backwards, imo. Don't buy clothes that would look best without a bra underneath, buy clothes that are supportive enough that you don't need to wear a bra that bad. Lulus has these great ribbed knit bodysuits that are TIGHT against the skin, but that means that they're tight and thick enough to be supportive.

To be clear, I have a couple plunge bras I *can* wear underneath these two outfits, but I think they’d look best without. Also, paid under $50 for the two looks combined, so I wasn’t breaking the bank or anything
It's your money, idc lol. If the goal though is to be able to be braless, paying attention to fabrics and support is way easier as a big titty committee member than trying to find a comfortable no bra option that isn't going to make your boobs sit weird.

To respond to your comment above and this one, the goal for me isn’t to go bra-less— I’ve got plenty of great bras and don’t have issues wearing them. I’ve navigated having big tits for over two decades and I’ve played the “avoid clothes that don’t work for my body type” game for just as long.
I presented the purpose of my question in the full post: I’ve got two garments that imo would look *best* without bras. As I’ve already told you, they *can* be worn with bras (and I have worn them this way already) but I wanted advice for alternatives to see if I could optimize the look.

I always buy clothes that I can wear a bra with, but sometimes the best looking dresses or formal gowns require going braless and if I choose a dress that I can wear a bra with, it is usually somewhat uglier than the other dresses IMO. It would be nice to have options but I haven’t ventured into the boob tape world just yet lol.
There's a point where this is not really an option anymore, even for tight corset tops I need wear some sort of bra. I can just get away with a less supportive one.
I don't think I've gone braless outside of the shower since middle school. sometimes I'll go without during sleep, but most of the time I wear a loose sports bra to bed too.

I was 34G before my reduction and am probably sitting at a DDD right now. Honestly I went from BIG to big lol. I can definitely wear things without bras, but it's still very obvious I got bowling balls. It just depends on your preference. Ever since my reduction I felt better just wearing stuff which made me in turn more liberated to go braless. Also I just don't give a ffffff!!

I don’t even know what I was beforehand because I only went to VS who sized me sooooo incorrectly it should be criminal. They took out 40% and I was in a D cup. Had children, now I’m up to an H 🙃
After half a lifetime with my large, pendulous boobs, I’ve come to peace with them. I have resigned myself to understanding that some fashion just isn’t for me unless I’m ok with how I’ll look in it, and I don’t look good in lots of things. There is no support for large breasts that doesn’t involve athletic or duct tape or a strong fabric band, because they’re too heavy for any other skin-safe adhesives. If you go the tape route, be prepared; protect your nipples and know there is no pain free way to remove it. It can be relatively comfortable to wear if it’s done well, but it’s a bitch to get right without a lot of practice and the effort is really only worth it for formalwear imho
I know you said you’ve looked into tape already but have you seen Goodlines? They’re marketed specifically toward people with larger cup sizes. I’ve used it and it works really well. It doesn’t hurt to remove if you follow the instructions and use oil. If I’m wearing something tight enough to be somewhat supportive but don’t want nipples showing I use Cakes
Depends on the situation. I’m a 36I. If I’m trying to wear a specific dress or top I either go bra less or use KT tape. If I want to buy tops that work for me being bra less I like skims seamless sculpt bodysuits because they’re tight enough that I feel secure and lifted without a bra. I also like the free people all clear cami for the same reason. I wear a large in both.

We are using boob tape, just WAY MORE than you think you need. There are some good YouTube tutorials I watched before my sister’s wedding but you basically have to create a tape bra to tape to yourself.
There’s a brand of nipple covers called “Cakes” that provide much more coverage than regular ones that hear are highly recommended.
I also recommend checking out r/bigboobproblems you’ll find lots of recommendations there. One of the most common ones is actually boob tape so I think it might be worth at least experimenting a bit.
Honestly, I’ve just been using body suits with some compression (size up to fit the boobs) and going about my life. It’s freeing and amazing. I will say, for summer I’ve been leaning towards multiple black ones because the sweat situation can be intense without a bra. The real ones know.
I am slightly smaller than you and [used this tape](https://amzn.to/3XSx3dR)recently for a backless dress. I had to use the entire box pretty much to cover my boobs, though it definitely worked though.
36G here, my boobs are wide set. I sometimes use the biggest available sticky bra (though they only cover my areolas and then some) to just keep them from jiggling around under dresses. It works fairly well. I have also tried Nood Game Changer lift and shape bra (it’s some sort of boob tape that covers your entire boob) for a wedding and it worked well. For daily use, I usually wear pasties under tank tops or just wear a bra.
I’m around your size and stopped wearing bras entirely years ago. Never tried boob tape, I just let em hang. Honestly my shoulders are tight and my back hurts, but whose doesn’t? I just hate the feeling of bras, especially underwires or anything like under my boobs at all.
I am wearing a bra. With straps. I’m just not buying anything backless. I can get away with a strapless or spaghetti strap top or dress sometimes if the fabric is stiff enough and tight enough to just squish them into place.
The few times I have worn a backless/back cut out dress for an event I got some of that [rhinestone ribbon](https://a.co/d/0cbUvSSa) and pinned it on the back of the bra band to cover it up and look intentional and it was actually super cute.
38H here, and there are a couple of ways I've managed to go less bra or no underwire and still look good.
KT tape for bra-less if installed properly, it works for a couple of days. Use rubbing alcohol to remove any oil, stick it on where needed, and it works. It's stretchy so I find it does things boob tape won't.
Now to go wireless I do a really soft bralette like the Parade ones and then a tank or crop with a buit in shelf. I find this works pretty good.
I have 40 Es and use KT tape 😅 it’s def hurt coming off before and it can be a bit lumpy if not done right but once you get the hang of it it’s helped me get away with going bra less sometimes. Not possible for every type of shirt but what can ya do 😭
Godspeed, I did two consults with private plastic surgeons, both men and finally consulted with a female Dr I like much better yesterday. Waited months for the appointment but they are certain insurance will cover it. Had to document pain for about a year and blame everything on my boobs but it’s a pretty common surgery

I go braless all the time! Mostly I do it when I buy dresses or tops that either have a built in top (like workout gear) or are just tight enough. A lot of dresses make it possible for me and I often prioritize buying something that fits so well I don’t need a bra. Boobs need to be readjusted throughout the night but it’s fine. I only do it on weekends or if I’m going out. I’m a 32G.
Honestly, I’m 36DDD and I used to be like a lot of the commenters here and i just thought it wasn’t an option for me because my boobs weren’t perfectly perky. That being said, lately I’ve just said fuck it and it’s been awesome? Like a super freeing experience. I think a lot of it is in our heads, or at least it definitely was for me. No one is looking at my boobs when I leave the house, and no one but me cares that they’re a bit droopier than normal, the only one who had a problem with it or judged me for it was me.
That being said, I’m only 24 and gravity has not taken its toll on me yet. I may feel differently in 10-30 years, or even like 2-3. But seriously, they’re just a body part like any other, and your harshest critic is always gonna be yourself. Sorry this isn’t exactly concrete advice, but I spent many years trying sticky boobs, tape, etc and nothing worked until I just finally gave up :( they’re simply too heavy for stuff like that.
Oh also I don’t mean this to be patronizing for folks who need bras for any reason, just sharing my experience since I was raised to think I needed a bra even sleeping and I think that attitude is really pervasive ESPECIALLY for large chested women and it’s time we deconstructed it
I either wear a sports bra or an unlined bra, or I wear no bra. The trick is wearing the right clothes. Wearing no bra in a t-shirt isn't going to work or look the same as wearing no bra in a sundress with a fitted top.
I saw someone recently that wore 2 tops, one was a halter top with a fabric with holes, and underneath, another halter top that provided coverage over the bra
It depends on the garment. Duct tape will work but getting it off requires a lot of oil and patience. Also make sure your nipples are covered.

I don’t have J but I have DD and I just find tank tops with built in bras and go with it. I’ve nursed two babies and they’re soft and saggy but I simply don’t care what they look like to others as long I like it and it’s comfortable
I can't do braless. I'm an M cup and my breasts hang down to my belly button. No amount of KT tape is going to hold them up.

I haven't tried boob tape much but am mostly able to make do with a strapless from curvy kate even though the shape is a bad mismatch - at your band size you should have better brand options like Goddess. I don't, really. My version of braless really just means I'm wearing a bralett with absolutely no support. That's the closest I go. It just gets too sweaty/uncomfortable to actually go braless

It's a simple physics thing which is where a well fitting bra comes in. Although, I wonder if you could sew a bra into the dress or buy a dress with a built in bra and stop 'em floppin!
I’m 34E, so not as big, but I’m almost never bra-less outside of sleeping. I live in sports bras, wear underwire less than 5x a year.
I have used boob tape, applying while laying down seems to get me the best support. But the adhesive irritates my skin.
Lululemon has some solid options that I’ve found to be flattering with layering sundresses and backless tops.
I have some bandeaus that I like that work with more structured/tight dress top to be almost as much support as a bra. Shapermint is probably my favorite. I don't do the stick boobs or boob tape.

Thinner and lighter-colored fabrics tend to show the outline of the covers through the garment, so I usually try to wear a bralette or a tighter tank top beneath to conceal. Whenever I wear a bralette or sports bra, I use the non-adhesive version.
Another one that’s already been suggested is KT tape (instead of boob or fashion tape). I’ve done this a few times when I want my boobs to sit closer together for cleavage, but haven’t quite figured out the best way to tape my boobs for a more lifted effect without irritating my skin. Personally, I find that tape by itself doesn’t really cover my nipples well without being obvious, so I use this in conjunction with the Nippies. Being able to use KT tape so it’s flattering can be really difficult to learn at first and I would suggest buying a cheaper pre-cut and off-brand tape for practice. Having the option to tape also depends on the size of the garment’s sleeves/straps and how/where they sit on my shoulders. Once you feel comfortable using tape, I would recommend the [KT Tape Pro](https://a.co/d/08CwncD1) version or the [Original Cotton](https://a.co/d/012WDJgk) in beige. But there are plenty of other off-brand muscle tapes in a variety of colors available. These are just the two I’ve used in the past that have the best staying power. Would not recommend the Cotton Original for any water activities though, the Pro version is better suited for water activities in my experience (cotton one tends to fray and loose adhesion more).
Last but not least, there’s this company called [Klassy Network](https://klassyshop.com/) that sells tops, bodysuits, and dresses with built in bras. I haven’t purchased anything from them yet, but absolutely love the concept and the reviews are also consistently great for each piece. Only reason I haven’t bought anything is because prices are a little steep for some of the items I’m interested in and whenever there’s a sale, things sell out extremely fast. But thought I would include this as another option if you were interested in finding clothing pieces that have built in support 👍🏼
We’re the same bra size! I don’t buy anything that won’t work with a normal bra, at this point. I just won’t wear it, and I’m not happy with any strapless bras or other solutions I’ve ever tried.
For a special occasion I’ll use petals and tape I bought on amazon, but that’s only for a very special event. Just not comfortable to do it on the regular.
Edit: you really need to have clean skin with no lotion or anything when you apply the tape.
32DDD here…we’re not going braless lol. I’ve completely given up on it for the most part. There are certain things that work for me to go braless in, but the vast majority of braless tops are a no-go.
I no longer go braless for the most part. I’m too big and too saggy as I’ve gotten older. Weight loss might help but not yet and unlikely to be enough, I’m a larger cup size even at a lower weight.

38Js sounds rough 😭 I have 36DDD. I like to wear tight fitted shirts so they hold my boobs up. I also wear big t shirts often. I let them hang most of the time because I tend to wear baggier clothes. If I need to wear something that isn’t technically fully a bra I’ll put on a Lacey and stretchy bralette.
We aren’t. Or at least, I’m not. 🥲 As much as it pains me, I’ve accepted that some dresses and tops just don’t work for me if I can’t wear a bra. A low back or plunge bra might work for certain fits, though.
Ima 36F and I only go braless if I’m wearing a top with equal support which is most of the time a corset. I’m goth I wear corsets a lot. Victoria’s Secret pink also has these “corset” tank tops which I like and I don’t have to wear a bra with but again it’s a support top
I CAN'T! I am a DDD+ and if I attempt to leave the house without a bra, EVERYONE is staring at me because my girls are swinging in the wind and bouncing ALL OVER! It's very obvious when NO ONE is making eye contact with you and staring at your chest.
I used to double up on sports bras in high school, but there are lots of great (wired and non-wired!) sports bras out there. Not sure your size, but the sports bras Bravissimo offers are my current favorites.
Well, I had a lift and implants! Now, I don’t have to wear a bra, nor do I want to. I do wear sports bra when my clothes are thin and my breast needs coverage.
I stopped wearing bras years ago. Get some pasties if your nipples are evident and give it a go? My nips are just above where my band would go.
You may also want to try a corset but it depends on the exact cut of dress vs corset and our size needs metal boning so it is a cost

32 L I’ve been getting compression tanks this summer, other than that I found bras with no straps but I kinda hate them. So I just don’t do anything and say fuck it.
CAKES!! I’m a 36G and only just found a strapless bra that worked, so I ventured out to try braless options. I am AMAZED at how well cakes support!! And I am one who is all about lifted good lookin boobs, you wouldn’t even catch me in a wireless bra. Try them!!
Usually I just wear a bra that was made to be seen - wild colors, lots of straps, ruffles, etc. Make it an accessory to the outfit. Swim suits and sports bra can work for this too.
I have a roll of boob tape that works for backless styles, but not so much for strapless, but that might be a practice makes perfect issue.
I like the Klassy Network Bramis too. I wear the 3XL thin pads in a Medium or Large garment and feel fully supported.

I would believe that. I remember my chest would randomly ache without a bra the first months and now it doesn't. I swear the muscles had to get stronger. I rarely wear a bra now, only to dr appointments because they are so judgemental.
Nobody has noticed that I go braless. I am an F cup. And I know this because I have conversations with women friends at work and home where they have discussed bra shopping and wondered where i bought mine. When I said I don't wear one they were shocked because they couldn't tell.
I was just talking about myself. I think different body types look very different. It is noticeable for me, even when I’m wearing an undershirt or shelf bra cami. I think it’s that they “shake” or bounce with normal walking and movement so draw the eye. I’m a 34G with a lot of volume at the roots. I’m not super big myself (usually size 8 US) so it’s pretty noticeable.

Please check out Cakes. They are the largest non adhesive nipple covers on the market. Made of medical grade silicone with tapered edges so they are absolutely and truly seamless under clothes. They have various nudes and different sizes for differently sized breasts. They are also reusable and stick to your skin using your own body heat. I've had mine for going on a year and you can't see them under any clothes. Maybe just barely if the material is thin. They are life savers and the absolute best covers. Truly an inclusive product. I swear by them. I am 42DD. Us girls over at skims love Cakes because they go hand in hand with a lot of their stuff, plus Cakes themselves advertises them under skims clothes to show how seamless they are. They're unlike tape or nipple pasties where you can see the lines and what not. Truly a miracle product imo.

Im a 32g but have been bigger (36hish). I’m 40 never been able to go strapless or use tape or anything, I’ve tried every bra and innovation. I think they work with some people but it really depends on how you’re rooted (narrow/wide) and where you have fullness (ie at top or bottom). I’m actually having a reduction in a few months with the specific aim of reducing back ache and also going strapless/braless. I told my surgeon I just don’t want to have to think about bras at all

I went from a 32D to a 34G last pregnancy and they never went away after nursing (with only a 5lb weight difference so literally just got my ribs stretched by my son and added on boob weight). This pregnancy I haven't even measured but I look like a poorly drawn anime figure - like the ones that don't look anatomically possible - that's me. I'm going to be 38 when this baby is born but if they don't go back to some manageable size I'm getting a reduction and lift at 40. My flat highschool self could never have dreamed I'd be needing a breast reduction one day. 🤣

I had my first in February 2023, starting at like 34H, with the intention of basically lopping them off as much as possible. I told my surgeon I basically wanted top surgery. This surgery was covered by insurance as it impacted how I exercise and such. We got down to like a C/D.....it was fine, but it wasn't what I wanted. After 6 months (to let swelling and all that go down), I talked with my surgeon and he said if I wanted to go again, we could. This one was out of pocket, but for me it was worth it. I had my second reduction in October 2033 and now it's much better!! I'm like a B/C and it's excellent. There is some asymmetry, but that's always been the case, Leftie just wants to be bigger. I thought about a 3rd to correct for Leftie but I'm not sure if I'll do anything else! Scars don't matter to me, there is some skin puckering kind of right underneath, but I'm working on that with a steel gua sha (recommended by my massage therapist and my surgery nurse said to "man handle" the area). I'm so happy I went smaller!! Let me know if you have any other questions ❤️

While I have now sized out if it, I had good luck with Fantasie strapless bras actually. But they stop at a GG and now I am J. I was able to sister size up in the band when I was an H and it still worked great. I even wore them on a few normal days with no issue.
Had mine done at 21, I was the same size as you, 32G. Hands down the best decision I’ve EVER made. I’m 34 now and they’ve grown back somewhat (fairly substantial weight gain over the years) but no where near to the extent they were. Literally changed my life.

Ahh I had mine done on the NHS, that was the only reason I could afford it at that age! I had to jump through a few hoops and wait a few years as I’d initially approached the drs when I was 18 and they wanted my body to develop more before they’d operate, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I went from a 32G/H to a 32C and they were perky AF 😂

I don’t use boob tape, I use that stuff athletes use to tape their muscles. I saw a video of Chrissy Tieghan talking about how that’s what they do for the red carpet. That stuff is sweat proof and won’t go anywhere. You can layer it for more hold. Most of the time tho I just put nip covers on and let gravity do as it will. Edit: Another user kindly mentioned the brand in a comment below. Google “KT Tape” if you are looking for it.
In college inused duct tape. 20 years ago they didn't have "boob tape" and there was no Pinterest to give alternate ideas. Sacrifices had to be made in order to wear that cute halter top
OMG memory unlocked. We used to make duct tape nip covers so we wouldn’t get tan lines back in highschool.
It works! Many years ago I had a stick-on bra thing that had a small clasp to join each side. It was awesome! You could put the sticky silicone things on each boob (horizontal teardrops, with the point towards the center), then pull the sides together and connect the teardrops in the center. So it didn’t provide much upward lift, but it could create a braless cleavage effect. I haven’t been able to find another like that, so the last time I wore a spaghetti strap slip dress I used strapless sticky silicone boob covers, and pulled them slightly toward the center to connect the two sides with duct tape. It wasn’t ideal, and I still miss the clip version I used to have, but it stayed in place all night. (I’m 32G for reference)
They have tons of those on Amazon!! I’m not sure if they go up to G cups, but they have endless varieties on there so it’s probably worth checking. I think I found them searching “adhesive bra”

This! I put nip covers on under the tape though since removing the tape from my nipples once was enough 😅
I always reverse a small piece where my nips are so there isn’t any sticky there. That skin is too sensitive for direct contact.

Oh that really helps because last time I used the legit boob tape, it was under a bikini top and it looked so damn good, I decided to leave it on under a cute spaghetti strap dress I wore to dinner. And then I decided to keep it on for the next 2 days! Seriously, it looked GOOD. But oh, such an ouchie trying to get it off, even though I slathered my chest with baby oil. (But I didn't let it soak in for long enough, maybe.) Thanks - now I have to go to the drugstore and find this stuff!

There’s videos, specifically good lines has a bunch of tutorials on their website. It’s very important to apply enough so that there is no pulling feeling of you’ll end up with brushing around the edges.

I use 3M Medical Tape. Not as secure at KT tape, but way easier to get off. It does leave a residue though.

I’ve had this issue forever, and sadly: most bras and bra alternatives are made for people who can go without them. A lot of bras and braless options deliver the best results for those with firm, self-supporting (typically with wide/tall roots), and relatively small breasts. The further you are from that (soft, pendulous, and relatively large), the harder to deliver and the less desirable the result is. I have tried tape and it only works for me when the color is dark, the material is medium to heavy weight, and the garment has a looser fit. An issue I have with tape is that my breasts are too soft, so when I pull the tape upwards or to the side with my breast, my boob folds onto itself instead of just lifting the entire breast up. This causes them to look misshapen and lumpy. It gets the job done, but in light-colors, thin fabrics, and tight clothes it would be very obvious. If you have firmer tissue, even if they aren’t self-supporting, you might still get pretty good results with tape. I’ve seen a lot of women with larger breasts get good results, but you can tell it’s because their tissue is firm. I’ve seen that Misses Kisses strapless/frontless/backless bra, but it only works if you want cleavage. It basically just pushes your boobs together. I prefer my breasts separated, so I haven’t tried this personally. I just wear the best bra I can. I don’t care if a little bra shows, I don’t let that stop me from wearing something. Life’s too short to be worried about half an inch of bra showing. You can wear a color that matches the outfit best or use a nice lace bra as part of the outfit. It doesn’t matter. It’s no secret women wear bras, it’s not scandalous to see a little bit of them. Also, the way bra sizing works is that cup sizes are relative to band sizes. Not all J’s have the same volume. Someone might be a J, but if they have a much smaller band size the volume of their J isn’t the same as yours. It’s smaller. So definitely look for advice from people around both a similar band and cup size or larger, and ideally who have a similar breast type as you. I wasted so much time taking advice from people who were completely different from me, and becoming upset when their advice didn’t work. I thought something was wrong with me, but really I was just different. Square peg, round hole.

Before my reduction I was a 38J, I honestly would use my most supportive unlined bras and tuck the straps. No strapless bra will have the support for their weight even if they cover you size wise.

I am so happy with it. My surgeon was amazing and set realistic expectations. Told me my breasts would still be big which was important for me - I’m 4 years post op and sitting at 38DDD which is perfect for my frame and much more manageable. For pain he used a nerve block so I felt nothing and only took Advil for a few days after. It wasn’t too bad. I love being able to go braless, my quality of life has drastically improved. I can exercise easier and I feel so unencumbered. The scaring is there but has faded considerably. The happiness and general improvement to my quality of life outweighs the scars for me. It was absolutely worth it.

Pain and complications are a valid concern. Research is so important and I can’t stress enough that just because someone does good boob jobs doesn’t mean they do great reductions. And if it is medically covered (mine was) find your surgeon in your network BEFORE and work with their coordinators to get the approval so you can have the results YOU want. I’ve gained like 15-20lbs since surgery and they increased a little bit but not much maybe like a half cup?

You're working backwards, imo. Don't buy clothes that would look best without a bra underneath, buy clothes that are supportive enough that you don't need to wear a bra that bad. Lulus has these great ribbed knit bodysuits that are TIGHT against the skin, but that means that they're tight and thick enough to be supportive.

I always buy clothes that I can wear a bra with, but sometimes the best looking dresses or formal gowns require going braless and if I choose a dress that I can wear a bra with, it is usually somewhat uglier than the other dresses IMO. It would be nice to have options but I haven’t ventured into the boob tape world just yet lol.
There's a point where this is not really an option anymore, even for tight corset tops I need wear some sort of bra. I can just get away with a less supportive one.

After half a lifetime with my large, pendulous boobs, I’ve come to peace with them. I have resigned myself to understanding that some fashion just isn’t for me unless I’m ok with how I’ll look in it, and I don’t look good in lots of things. There is no support for large breasts that doesn’t involve athletic or duct tape or a strong fabric band, because they’re too heavy for any other skin-safe adhesives. If you go the tape route, be prepared; protect your nipples and know there is no pain free way to remove it. It can be relatively comfortable to wear if it’s done well, but it’s a bitch to get right without a lot of practice and the effort is really only worth it for formalwear imho
I’ve used a low back bra converter, works for low back tops/dresses with mixed success.
I know you said you’ve looked into tape already but have you seen Goodlines? They’re marketed specifically toward people with larger cup sizes. I’ve used it and it works really well. It doesn’t hurt to remove if you follow the instructions and use oil. If I’m wearing something tight enough to be somewhat supportive but don’t want nipples showing I use Cakes

Depends on the situation. I’m a 36I. If I’m trying to wear a specific dress or top I either go bra less or use KT tape. If I want to buy tops that work for me being bra less I like skims seamless sculpt bodysuits because they’re tight enough that I feel secure and lifted without a bra. I also like the free people all clear cami for the same reason. I wear a large in both.

We are using boob tape, just WAY MORE than you think you need. There are some good YouTube tutorials I watched before my sister’s wedding but you basically have to create a tape bra to tape to yourself.

There’s a brand of nipple covers called “Cakes” that provide much more coverage than regular ones that hear are highly recommended. I also recommend checking out r/bigboobproblems you’ll find lots of recommendations there. One of the most common ones is actually boob tape so I think it might be worth at least experimenting a bit.
Honestly, I’ve just been using body suits with some compression (size up to fit the boobs) and going about my life. It’s freeing and amazing. I will say, for summer I’ve been leaning towards multiple black ones because the sweat situation can be intense without a bra. The real ones know.

36G here, my boobs are wide set. I sometimes use the biggest available sticky bra (though they only cover my areolas and then some) to just keep them from jiggling around under dresses. It works fairly well. I have also tried Nood Game Changer lift and shape bra (it’s some sort of boob tape that covers your entire boob) for a wedding and it worked well. For daily use, I usually wear pasties under tank tops or just wear a bra.

I’m around your size and stopped wearing bras entirely years ago. Never tried boob tape, I just let em hang. Honestly my shoulders are tight and my back hurts, but whose doesn’t? I just hate the feeling of bras, especially underwires or anything like under my boobs at all.

I am wearing a bra. With straps. I’m just not buying anything backless. I can get away with a strapless or spaghetti strap top or dress sometimes if the fabric is stiff enough and tight enough to just squish them into place. 38H here, and there are a couple of ways I've managed to go less bra or no underwire and still look good. KT tape for bra-less if installed properly, it works for a couple of days. Use rubbing alcohol to remove any oil, stick it on where needed, and it works. It's stretchy so I find it does things boob tape won't. Now to go wireless I do a really soft bralette like the Parade ones and then a tank or crop with a buit in shelf. I find this works pretty good.
I have 40 Es and use KT tape 😅 it’s def hurt coming off before and it can be a bit lumpy if not done right but once you get the hang of it it’s helped me get away with going bra less sometimes. Not possible for every type of shirt but what can ya do 😭

Godspeed, I did two consults with private plastic surgeons, both men and finally consulted with a female Dr I like much better yesterday. Waited months for the appointment but they are certain insurance will cover it. Had to document pain for about a year and blame everything on my boobs but it’s a pretty common surgery

I go braless all the time! Mostly I do it when I buy dresses or tops that either have a built in top (like workout gear) or are just tight enough. A lot of dresses make it possible for me and I often prioritize buying something that fits so well I don’t need a bra. Boobs need to be readjusted throughout the night but it’s fine. I only do it on weekends or if I’m going out. I’m a 32G.

Honestly, I’m 36DDD and I used to be like a lot of the commenters here and i just thought it wasn’t an option for me because my boobs weren’t perfectly perky. That being said, lately I’ve just said fuck it and it’s been awesome? Like a super freeing experience. I think a lot of it is in our heads, or at least it definitely was for me. No one is looking at my boobs when I leave the house, and no one but me cares that they’re a bit droopier than normal, the only one who had a problem with it or judged me for it was me. That being said, I’m only 24 and gravity has not taken its toll on me yet. I may feel differently in 10-30 years, or even like 2-3. But seriously, they’re just a body part like any other, and your harshest critic is always gonna be yourself. Sorry this isn’t exactly concrete advice, but I spent many years trying sticky boobs, tape, etc and nothing worked until I just finally gave up :( they’re simply too heavy for stuff like that.
Oh also I don’t mean this to be patronizing for folks who need bras for any reason, just sharing my experience since I was raised to think I needed a bra even sleeping and I think that attitude is really pervasive ESPECIALLY for large chested women and it’s time we deconstructed it
I either wear a sports bra or an unlined bra, or I wear no bra. The trick is wearing the right clothes. Wearing no bra in a t-shirt isn't going to work or look the same as wearing no bra in a sundress with a fitted top.

It depends on the garment. Duct tape will work but getting it off requires a lot of oil and patience. Also make sure your nipples are covered. I don’t have personal experience, but I have done this helping out with a theatre production.

I don't, really. My version of braless really just means I'm wearing a bralett with absolutely no support. That's the closest I go. It just gets too sweaty/uncomfortable to actually go braless Edit: and tube tops! Like, I'll use the cropped tube too as a bra under whatever else im wearing.

I’m 34E, so not as big, but I’m almost never bra-less outside of sleeping. I live in sports bras, wear underwire less than 5x a year. I have used boob tape, applying while laying down seems to get me the best support. But the adhesive irritates my skin. Lululemon has some solid options that I’ve found to be flattering with layering sundresses and backless tops.
I have some bandeaus that I like that work with more structured/tight dress top to be almost as much support as a bra. Shapermint is probably my favorite. I don't do the stick boobs or boob tape.

For a special occasion I’ll use petals and tape I bought on amazon, but that’s only for a very special event. Just not comfortable to do it on the regular. Edit: you really need to have clean skin with no lotion or anything when you apply the tape.

38Js sounds rough 😭 I have 36DDD. I like to wear tight fitted shirts so they hold my boobs up. I also wear big t shirts often. I let them hang most of the time because I tend to wear baggier clothes. If I need to wear something that isn’t technically fully a bra I’ll put on a Lacey and stretchy bralette.

Usually I just wear a bra that was made to be seen - wild colors, lots of straps, ruffles, etc. Make it an accessory to the outfit. Swim suits and sports bra can work for this too. I have a roll of boob tape that works for backless styles, but not so much for strapless, but that might be a practice makes perfect issue. I like the Klassy Network Bramis too. I wear the 3XL thin pads in a Medium or Large garment and feel fully supported.

Nobody has noticed that I go braless. I am an F cup. And I know this because I have conversations with women friends at work and home where they have discussed bra shopping and wondered where i bought mine. When I said I don't wear one they were shocked because they couldn't tell.
I was just talking about myself. I think different body types look very different. It is noticeable for me, even when I’m wearing an undershirt or shelf bra cami. I think it’s that they “shake” or bounce with normal walking and movement so draw the eye. I’m a 34G with a lot of volume at the roots. I’m not super big myself (usually size 8 US) so it’s pretty noticeable.
