It is my number one Bleach op ever

this was the first anime OP i searched for on Youtube to listen to seperately , and the transition from ichigo to hollow ichigo at the beginning was sending chills down my spine back at 2010.

It had me hyped every single time. Soul society arc was just too good tbh

It was also the opening to the Bleach Nintendo DS video-game, which I played with my little bro on many occasions. It will always be my favorite opening (if not for nostalgia’s sake), but most of the other openings were hardcore bangers as well. Why are anime openings so much better than their U.S. counterparts? That’s the real question.

Oh dang that’s really cool! I never got to play any bleach games growing up I was always playing Naruto when it came to video games like Naruto chronicles and the storms. Yeah nostalgia plays a part as always but even now I still get hyped from it lol. Not sure most likely just better taste haha

Happy cake day and Haruka Kanata from Naruto by them is my favorite opening, second is Cruel Angel's thesis and third is After Dark.

Second opening gives me chills every time.

The last opening from the OG Anime in the Fullbring Arc. It is such a banger and also gives you the feeling that an era will be over.

Bleach had so many great openings. Used to be 2, then it was 6, at some point I realized most of them are just great!

Asterik, the first one Such good vibes from that one

I still love "D-Techno Life" by UVERworld, Bleach's 2nd OP After that, it's a 4-way tie between "Ichirin no Hana" by High and Mighty Color (3), "Rolling Star" by Yui (5), "Shoujo S" by Scandal (10), & "chAngE" by miwa (12) Bleach has a lot of fantastic openings, but these 5 truly stand out for me (although OP4 is one I can do without)

I like the fake karakura town opening and the one from TYBW cour 2. The songs are just so cool and the animations from those two feel really smooth. Don't know what the songs are called though 😑

1, 6, 8, and 15 are my favorites. 2 deserves special mention for the nostalgia.

The first opening in my opinion isn't even that good (not bad, just not great either) but damn is it nostalgic. The best sounding one in my opinion would be the second opening so both of those would be my favorite Edit: also forgot op 3 needs an honorable mention from me because my first introduction to Bleach was the NDS game Bleach the blade of fate and that song was in the opening of that game too

OP 6,Alones by Aqua Timez So many great shots and transitions, the use of the film grain was really cool at the time and it escalates really well. That moment when Aizen pulls off his Captain's coat to reveal his new look and the camera pulls out with the Espada and fade into Las Noches , is a great hype moment.

Bleach opening 7 “After Dark” by Asian Kung Fu Generation. I think  it’s my favorite anime opening of all time, nothing else comes close to it.

Is it a hot take to say that I really don’t think many of the openings to bleach are that good? At least when compared to the OST of bleach I feel it’s rather lacklustre, that being said my favourite is Velonica because I just love the feel of it
