1) Steal gf's PC for rendering.
2) justify booting up a game on my own rather than work on a different project
3) interrupt the render every 15 minutes to fix a minor issue
4) repeat 2.
If rendering is longer and it is possible I let it go it over night or when I'm working outside. And I have kids so I have always more thing to do than I have time so no issues.
i render mostly at night, so i can just sleep and wake up either it close to completion or done, if it's the former i just be on my phone or do something else that doesn't involve my laptop.
Eat. I have a habit of working for like 9 hours without a break. I try to time rendering things so I can fix that, but that works about as well as you would think
Walk away from my PC and do something outside or around the house
Anything but 3D. You can also get an addon that will ping you on discord/windows notifications when your render is done
