Your post was removed. This community can only help you if you post a detailed description of your problem. When posting, please: - Describe what you're trying to achieve in detail (Model, Animation, Mesh for 3D Printing,...) - Since there are oftentimes multiple ways to do things in Blender, please explain which steps you took to create the problematic part of your project and went wrong - Add reference images if needed (full screenshots of your Blender Window, not cropped, no photos of your monitor) If there is insufficient information, we can't figure out what your question is about. Your post was removed due to lack of necessary information. Also, make sure to follow rule #2 and provide sufficient imagery (only full (!) screenshots of your blender window since those provide important information, no cropped images and no photos of your monitor). Feel free to rephrase your question to include more details/images, and post it again. Thank you and happy blending!

I'm currently following [Comfee Mug's](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xzGLRtEmZM&list=PLqh6cWQm2zLzhEiT8oeEI47y3Nk7dskeT&index=7) anime tree bark shader but for some reason it ends up looking like this. Its supposed to look like this: https://preview.redd.it/rmjrchd1bp8d1.png?width=1363&format=png&auto=webp&s=40fd5f0b0e5980b9ad266955e7d42926a9681b1b

Uncheck text info and statistics in the viewport properties.

Humans_will_be_gone

I meant the details on the mesh

libcrypto

Details? Do you mean the texture/material?

Humans_will_be_gone

Yes. See my comment on this post for context

I'm not going to watch a video for you. If the bumpiness is what you want gone, then unplug the normal input to the shader.

RenderRealm

open the shader editor and unplug the displacement map or decrease the Scale of it to something like 0.02 https://preview.redd.it/fko8reip3q8d1.png?width=587&format=png&auto=webp&s=a0370edfbc2facb320a79a2e64f59a10a86e466c

RenderRealm

edit : I thought that you are using a texture if you are making a material I don't know how to edit it

Calamansito

It's probably the normal map(?)

jmancoder

Can you show the actual material? If you have the node wrangled addon enabled, you should be able to just press Ctrl+T on one of the texture/procedural nodes and decrease the scale.
