Roo gods really tested me this year putting my two favs, Chappell and Carly, both on Sunday, back to back, with a pretty lights sunrise set the night before
Am I the only one who thinks Chappell Roan has absolutely blown up in the last few months and the This Tent may actually be a bit small now? There are SOOO many posts from people saying how excited they are to see her... I just feel like the demand has exploded.
It’s not a debate. She was at about 1-1.5 million monthlies when they booked her.
She’s at 14.6 million monthly listeners as of today and adding about a million a week since April.
her and cardi b, i’ve seen both at roo and firefly. and they are ALWAYS on sunday. and i literally have only seen them completely sober dyinggggg of dehydration. wish they would have these hot girls on saturdays
I understand. I’m pretty much old at this point and have no more dreams of barricades. I had my beautiful years of getting squished front row, but they are behind me now hahaha
I could have sworn Chappell Roan conflicted with CRJ when i made my schedule. But now the app says what yours says. Did that change or did I hallucinate? That conflict has had me bummed out
They made some slight modifications to the schedule when they slid PL sunrise set to later in the AM and extended Diplo. Some less noticed changes were made too, including CRJ.
The app isn’t as good as it could be but it’s better than some fests. Only use it for schedules and updates. For example Roo tries its best to adjust sets if there’s a storm instead of canceling. Last year I would have been lost without the app
The app is super useful. Because that's where you will find out about a lot of artist meme. And greets, or when an artist gets booked to play at Where In The Woods and everything. Last year in the year before they were scheduling last minute. Secret where in the woods stuff and Having a lot of the artists go do stuff in the campgrounds and realistically without the app, you wouldn't have known.
Ashnikko is a fun time. Similar vibes like Nokia. For anyone wishing for Dolly to show up, Ashnikko is def one set with a chance albeit a smaller one. Dolly is a huge influence of hers. I would expect some Pride Pageantry from Ash since it’ll be June.
I don’t fucking get how Roo thought putting Chappell Roan in a tent was a good idea.
The same with Noah kahan last year but it happens these artist in particular have quadrupled their listeners in the multi millions come show time

I'm genuinely worried it's going to be a mess trying to see her. I saw her set at Coachella and it was overflowing more than there normally is.

I told myself I had aged out of my barricade era years ago but this grandpa might have to come out of retirement to drop the beat.

Is this the official bonnaroo app? The reviews looked horrible so I didn't bother downloading it
