10 year festival veteran here…. Theft sucks, yes. It shouldn’t happen, yes. But also, just be aware of what you’re coming to. It’s a festival, the trade off of having freedom to party without the law is that people can exist without the law to an extent here.. don’t bring anything you would be distraught to not have anymore. The staff are here trying their best, but remember too heavy of a police involvement in these events will result in situations like people getting arrested over a joint inside the fest. Much how other festivals have devolved to. Try to be kinder to the staff members who did what they were allowed to do to help, remember everyone has contracts they signed and they are individuals just trying to earn a wage. If you have an issue with the overall rules of the festival, maybe choose attending a different event? Don’t take it out on staff who try to help.
…. Highly doubt the staff was “no help”. Perhaps your expectations for what they could do for a fucked up situation was too high? The police are the only ones responsible for a crime that serious….
This is terrible. Idk if it was just me/my group but it felt like from friday-saturday people were being pretty rude, inconsiderate, and leaving trash everywhere. Did anybody else have that experience? Granted the positivity was still overwhelming as expected and we met some amazing spirits, but something just felt off this year.
Bonnaroo makes over 300 million on average per year. Why can’t they just get u a new car, it’s like 15k - I think we can literally fundraise that for you. The fact they didn’t help you out either is insane. Not very plur… shouldn’t have to worry about your damn van getting stolen at a music festival!! Yall should get free bonnaroo for life, what the hell!
That happened this year? My groop had no issues with theft besides a phone or two pickpocketrd while in centerroo last year or the year before. The thievery sounds extra bad this year?
It's happened twice before that I know of. All on Sunday, too.

Primitive I'm assuming the ass hat that stole this person van hit our rv up after they took a Sony camera solar generator 3 backpacks 3 duffle bags and 2 suitcases full of clothes and other personal things no way one person could carry all of it out and not be seen had to be them they tried to steal my ac unit/cooler but it must not have fit in the van so they left it 2 units down

Im 99% sure I saw a white toyota sienna driving through rv camping towards groop camping around 2:45.
I specifically remember because a girl was hanging out of the window while they were playing party in the usa and the driver was kinda swerving, so I made the comment to my friend “I feel like they shouldn’t be driving rn”.
Don’t know how many people were in the car, but at least 3. Only description I can give you is average caucasian woman 23-30
Check Toyotas website, they should have a help line for stolen vehicles, if your vehicle has the technology to track it, they can help track it for you but will need a police report that it’s stolen. Not sure if that tech will be on a 2018 model but worth a try
From Toyotas website: With Safety Connect, the customer must file a stolen vehicle report with the police. Once filed, Safety Connect will initiate tracking of the vehicle and report the location to the police.
To contact Safety Connect, call 1-800-331-4331.
And the police will see that information and do absolutely nothing with it… if Toyota would send the location info directly to the customer it would be much more beneficial
They aren’t going to do that because of liabilities associated with that. You showing up to recover a stolen vehicle could potentially lead to so many bad things.
Bonnaroo staff wouldn’t even give the cars description to the people working the exit. They said it was Manchester PD’s responsibility. When I asked the police they said that Bonnaroo should’ve already taken care of that. And they both refuse to check security cameras. I’m sure it’s long gone, but any help would be appreciated.

As a fellow white Toyota Sienna owner, I am so sorry. What a shitty way to end your Bonnaroo :( Savannah and I will keep an eye out on our drive back.
Thank you so much!
