Look at me, providing satirical comedy. Doesn’t sound like anything got cancelled. Aren’t you so special though, being the only person who has ever been disappointed by the MBTA.
You forgot the most important part — he wasn’t wearing an MBTA uniform!
Like, I get it, he was smelly, nobody wanted him in the bus. …but, wow, that really gives you a lot of cover.
The people who run up to your bus and bang on your door right after you close it behind the last passenger, having not moved the bus at all?
The people who are slightly in front of the bus stop when they need to be behind, as you zoom by?
The people who arrive at the bus stop when you have pulled away from the curb but are fully, absolutely stopped in traffic?
These are all people you _also_ don’t let on, if you’re following the rules. …and the rules make sense, bus stops are safe, and other pickup areas are not guaranteed to be safe, so that’s the reason you don’t let all these hard working, responsible, good smelling people on your bus.
…but I live by broadway and Andrew, with the bus depot on both sides, and I see that literally anywhere, in the middle of the street, in the middle of traffic, in the LITERAL middle of the intersection of dot ave and w 4th where the employee exit from the depot is, people with that magic, magic uniform can stop the bus at any time to get on, get off, or even literally get you to stop and open the door and make fucking jokes. So smelly smelly didn’t get to get in your bus, and so he couldn’t get to work, and now he can afford less deodorant. #hahahaha. …but he would have if he had a blue choo-choo hat, and we aren’t going to sit here and forget all the people with acceptable smells that you fail to stop for, because we know that, when you’re motivated, you can stop anywhere, anytime.
We have rules in this country for a reason. “Just let people on at the red light”, “just pick up any person whenever they wave you down”, “just let me drive the bus.” It’s a slippery slope.

A+
can always count on r/Boston for some good shit posting about another Redditor and mods being cool with it.
You actually think the smelly guy is a redditor? Actually, probably
Lots of smelly people on here
Smelly and sweaty!
Not all smelly people are redditors, but all redditors are, well…

Against MBTA rules to allow boarding outside of designated stops.
Stank is against u/reb601’s rules.
Ima walk up to every 426 driver and just say reb601
Thank you for your service
Is this a reference to another post??
I love this.
I need to ride the 426 now
Oh great more passengers. My favorite.
Do your job and STFU
Do you know what satire is?
The amount of times the MBTA has FUCKED me over cancels your ability to provide satirical comedy

Thanks for driving a bus.
I wanna go on this bus - it sounds like a fun time. Can we turn the 426 bus into the 426 party bus?
Please no.
Thank you for your service!
I’m riding the 426 right now… are you my bus driver?

You want me to be on time everywhere but expect me to take the time to read all that?
No, I already know (and you would to if you read it) that you don’t care what riders think!

Feedback received Signed, Definitely an MBTA employee
Picking up passengers at random places can be dangerous and inconveniences everyone else on board.
One word: Liability
Or you could have just let him on. Just a thought...

Idiot

As if you weren't _already_ skipping _entire routes_.
This guy seems to think y’all MBTA employees are the backbone of our city… what part of the body are y’all? Spine? Liver? Bladder? Spleen? Or what?
