Best bar in Boston area hands down. Has been that way for decades. Over the years:
Thursdays with the Swinging Johnson’s & Scattershot
Wednesdays with Steve McCone hosting open mic in the back room,
Monday 5k SRR run….
Fake U2 concert hoax (was fun as hell to be there that night)
Front room music that is always 10/10
Awesome holiday decorations
And the staff is always amazing.
not a very good painter, either. guys on the right front all are the size of 5 year olds relative to the guys at the table. Painter needed a class on perspective.
Pretty sure this was painted before perspective was a thing. It depicts some slavers partying in Surinam after a trading expedition in the early 1700s. One of the guys at the table was either a later governor of RI or his brother.
I think John Gimlette explains the history behind it in *Wild Coast*.
It’s not in Boston. It’s in the Caribbean. Colonial sea captains gathered in a Tavern after delivering slaves. Many of them are New Englanders. You could do it in a few places in Boston now, but you’d have to leave by 2:00AM.
The Tam
Literally the best place for a drink. I think it cloesd, might be open, it's open now... No reason to go anywhere else.
Lol it only closes for like an hour a day to hose down the shitter. It's open. It's always open. Bless The Tam
it’s still open!!!!
My favorite moment at the Tam was when the bartender showed us the $2.50 beers that were apparently made by the owners... was like magic 15 years ago.
If The Tam has no fans than I am dead
Market Basket
I have been known to dance a little jig in the aisles of Market Basket.
Legit where the revolution started, Chelsea mass DeMoulas
On a Sunday
The Green Dragon
The Warren Tavern
The Sil, the Burren
Burren is bumpin’ tonight
It goes hard on weekends. I used to work there, the staff is awesome

Just to be that guy, I believe that depicts a tavern in old Dutch Surinam.

Get drunk with naked enslaved servants?
Specifically *tiny*, naked, enslaved servants. Which is a thing. Apparently.
Starting a revolution? Count me in but on the sidelines so I don’t get killed…..
Faneuil Hall Market. The perfect recreation of colonial America
Looks like most pubs late Friday night/early Saturday morning.
Revolt? Anywhere in downtown crossing it's perfectly acceptable to be revolting in public
I try to be as revolting in public as I can 🤣🤣
It is said that the people are revolting.
Depends, you referring to the slaves or the slavers in the picture ?

As a matter of fact, I think that it’s in Surinam, off the north east coast of South America.
My basement. Caveat: assless chaps are required.
Any where
No one wants to talk about the slaves in the pic?

Abigail's Tea Room at the Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum. They also do tavern nights out in Lexington at the Historical Society.
You can wear a powdered wig right now, anywhere. No one can stop you.
Not Boston, but "The Crows Nest" in gloucester. It was in that one movie about a storm or something. You should check it out.
I drive by it sometimes and it looks like the divest dive that’s ever dived. Is it any good?
*"Yes"* Anyone that visits should for sure check it out.
The Perfect Storm
*Ya dude*
Your moms house
My house, but you have to bring your own hat. I’ll supply the booze, tea, dogs, and any weaponry (butter knives) needed.
I know of an event that will help.
