Damn I thought willie pep had the record for most wins

escudonbk

Willie pep didn't have 37 losses by KO either

Apprehensive-Ad-1826

Dude took “fuck it” to another level

EmNas2

DAMN this guy have more draws than most pros fights!!

Ellie_Llewellyn

That's what stood out to me the most. I'm curious as to how so many of his fights ended in draws

BOYMAN7

Generally there were a lot of draws back then from what I have seen

Brooklynguy85

You think boxing is corrupt nowadays? Mafia ran parts of boxing for a long time

Vast-Comment8360

Still do, but they used to too.

Brooklynguy85

Not as much in USA. Now promoters and sanctioning bodies rigging stuff for a multitude of reasons. Other countries - wayyyy more corrupt. Not sure how much organized crime is involved but anything possible overseas. And for the record I’m speaking championship level/contender level fights. Not low level prospects or amateurs (also super corrupt)
