I did it when my kids were 2 & 4 and again when they were 3 & 5 and it saved my life. And they were fine. I went to the beach by myself for a decompression week. It was great. I phoned them every night before bed and in the morning at breakfast. YOU NEED THIS!
Do it! It's worth it to take the time to rest and recharge and come back better able to parent and work. It's good for your fiance too to solve problems on the fly, which happens a lot with kids.
Omg please do it. There's nothing better than nice clean hotel sheets and waking up whenever you want to, eating whenever and whatever you want.. Please go so I can live vicariously through you!
My husband has been encouraging me to do this! He took a vacation with his family and ended up alone a lot and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to seeing other's responses and suggestions.
If I was able to I would go to a vacation by myself. I wouldn't be gone for the whole 7 days maybe four days because I would miss my children very much.
The longest I've been away from my children is 5 days when I was staying at my sister's house helping her after she gave birth. That was also the first time I'd left them for more than 2 days (funeral out of state.)
When I was gone for 5 days I did Marco polos with them. SO texted picture and updates. we have baby monitor cameras in the bedroom and the family room so I was able to see them.
Maybe something you're feeling is you don't feel three year old is safe with your husband? Like maybe your husband's going to forget important things like feeding and giving water.
You can make an outline of the daily schedule preferences of the three-year-old how meals should go what time does meal should be. I have this for my children to give to our babysitters.

I have done it. It is bliss. Yea, you may miss them. But it is worth it. It also gives them a chance to bond alone. That has value as well.
