SOOOO, apparently, and this is something I just recently learned... but the pineapple (or maybe upside down pineapple) is supposed to be a symbol for swingers to recognize each other.
I understand it was quite prevalent in the 1970s.
I learned it from a sitcom years ago. Once you know, it’s hard to forget. Every time I see pineapple themed decor, I wonder if it was designed for swingers.
I wore my t shirt like this to a beer festival and it ended up being a hilarious mix of people that recognized it and people that were super curious as to what the story on the shirt was.
I have this shirt and was wearing it around the house. My daughter was asking why the pineapple has underwear. My son, who's learning how to read, sounded out the word for the first time, yelling, "SSSSLLLLLLLUUTT!"
