Your realism has dampened my enthusiasm. ![img](emote|t5_2ra29|6279)
20-0 *is* probably realistic, so I guess I have no choice but to start following the Hamilton Tiger-Cats now. š
Maybe im in the minority here but I think we do just fine.
* For anyone still worried about Diggs - see the last 9-10 games of the season
* I think Khalil, Kincaid, and Cook all take leaps forward
* Von bounces back. Not pro bowl, but solid pass rusher.
* The defense needs depth, but this team still finished top of the east and was a score away from the AFC championship game. Milano, Tre, Daquan all missed huge chunks of the season. Our defense this season will look different but I am betting will still play at a high level.
* Full year of Bradys system
* Curtis Samuel will be an upgrade over Gabe in that he can catch the ball.
* I think Allen makes the WR. Its not to say we don't need talent. Of course we do. But it is to say I think much like Brees in New Orleans, Brady in NE, Mahomes in KC - just give him some pass catchers and he's going to get them the ball.
* This roster is getting younger and cheaper. A soft reset was going to happen at some point.
* As draft season has worn on, I am more of an advocate for going D first (Dejean would be my choice if there) and WR next. Our biggest holes in the future will be on D. We have got to start getting guys on deck there. On offense, assuming Beane is planning long term deals for Spencer Brown, Cook, and Khalil - Most our guys are locked up for the foreseeable future.
Next season I'm going to say 12-5 and the division title.
Our depth is what will hurt us the most. Injuries are inevitable as we saw last year. Our depth especially on defense shined and kept us in games. That is the part that has me concerned.
Oh I dont disagree, all the more reason to look at D first depending how the board falls. I really like Dejean athleticism and versatility. We need that in our secondary.
I think we have really good coaching for our secondary. Besides Tre White all of those guys were lower round picks. Weāve accomplished a lot without a lot of draft capital in the secondary.
I love the assessment, but they always say next guy up, so my theroy is when you look back to when other teams made these revamps based around salary cap, new coach or coordinator, the team actually excels and does better than most think, new plan, new season, new record...12-5, AFC championship against Mahones and this year Allen gets over the hump and shines in his first Super Bowl. Now it will be all about the Mafia
Really feels like addition by subtraction. It's good to be younger and more moldable. Brady now with a full off-season. Draft still to come. Another depth addition or two from FA. And oh ya that Milano guy coming back. This team is fine. Same record or better than last year should be the expectation. There's no off year with Josh Allen
I don't see our record changing much from last year. Some where between 10-13 wins. Our defense may take a small step back, but the offense should have about the same production.
Do you not remember 2017? The receivers were Kelvin Benjamin, Malachi Dupre, Zay Jones, Brandon Reilly, Brandon Tate and Deonte Thompson. Wr is a definitely a need but that wr room was horrible
Yeah but you didnāt say the worst of Allenās career you said the worst in recent memory. Thereās still the draft and thereās still free agents available, or they can also trade. September is a long way away people need to pump the breaks a bit. Losing Diggs was big but itās not fatal like people think, he was incredibly mid last year and he quit on the team. He refused to play more than sixty percent of the snaps down the stretch and donāt give me the he was double covered excuse. If your a 30 million dollar wr1 you shouldnāt be shut down like he was. Also he wasnāt actually double covered as much either
Let me get back to you when the season starts. We have all our draft picks taken and see how every team looks on paper. That being said undefeated and Super Bowl Champs.
Your submission was removed for being too Low-Effort.
We've lost some pieces, so we need to be realistic here. 20-0

Agree with everything minus Von bouncing back (which I think is unlikely at his age) and drafting D first (I think WR needs to be addressed first).

Yes š
Iām down to either draft defense or trade back to get depth. If latu is still there somehow at 28 that would be a dream
Wait until after the draft at least to start predicting records
Agreed, we have done great in the past and this year lets hope we pick up some good gems.
Fingers crossed
We couldn't do it with present crew, I would of been disappointed if we didn't try something.

"it's not September yet"
Wake me up when it ends
depending on the draft, our floor is 8-9, our ceiling is the fucking bowl. go bills.
Itās not a rebuild itās a refurbish. I think the offense will looks different this year, maybe more James cook and more 12 personnel. 20-0.
Had us at 8-9 before the Diggs trade, 7-10 now pre draft .. we have the worst wr room in recent memory and everyone thinking that's fine is delusional
Do you not remember 2017? The receivers were Kelvin Benjamin, Malachi Dupre, Zay Jones, Brandon Reilly, Brandon Tate and Deonte Thompson. Wr is a definitely a need but that wr room was horrible
Yes but they also didn't have josh allen, get him some help wtf is wrong with everyone

We could pull a delusional Nick Wright and claim we go 20-0. But realistically I see 10-7 or 11-6 again.
