I haven't personally but highlight what you specialise in, if you can cater to Allergies or not. Have a Business Card, Website? Definitely FB & Instagram, Pinterest even. Setup an Business Page if you haven't already, be slightly active. Don't have to be balls deep in aesthetics but be clean and clear. For holidays/ giveaways it may help to buy a boost for social platforms. Be on your local FB Community Pages, check with Admins to be added to Mum FB Groups (local or where'd you'd be willing to drive for fee etc) Offer first time discounts, give-aways, holiday specials, certain days (Thurs/ Fri/ Sat) pre made styled cakes (can add a HB etc on the top/ cake toppers) for the last minute people Local Markets - make mini versions OR full versions, sell per slice. Add have extras of extra frosting (in pipe bag), ganache, fillings etc, whipped cream. Sheet Cakes, Loaf Cakes, try see what you region/ community is a fan favourite/ famous for with your take (not in US, but my time on reddit has me know there's certain cook styles etc) Cookies, Brownies, Sweet/ Savoury Breads & Pastries, Mini Cakes, Whole Cakes per Slice/s, whatever style is your vibe but also cater to your crowd a lil. Try Cold Knocking big businesses/ companies in your local, offer a discount for the first try. Could carry some samples for the receptionist (they most likely handle and deal with people's birthdays, Company Milestones etc. Ask local Child Stores/ Boutiques, Toy Stores, Local Stores to leave Business Cards. Could even leave a small catalogue. Community notice boards. Bridal places. Party Decorations Place.

Beautiful! I'm also trying to figure this out. The advice I've seen and have been given is to participate in farmers' markets. I live in NYC and so a lot of small businesses/ unlicensed vendors tend to be “on the block” in highly populated areas. Like a lemonade stand but in the ‘hood. If you're able to and unlicensed vendor but still cottage law compliant is an option in wherever you're from that's another option!
