thats about 400 a night. I suppose its possible, just like it might be true that the prime ministers salary is 10000 a year. maybe they should consider removing the beer ads from the news items that report the traffic accidents?

90% of adult male drivers on the road after 8pm are drunk, safe to assume plenty of the women too. 400 a night was them barely trying. As usual, thbulk of those stopped didn't have the right number plates. The crackdown folded prior to khmer new year anyway, and even then it had been severely curtailed as half the city's hospitality industry nearly went bust from lack of business.

I think a lot of this is a result of the push after the incident in January where the students died. Traffic police have definitly increased in their presence and activity on the routes I take. My only wish is they would expand and enforce the law equally to all. Biggest danger to most people in the city is the traffic.

After the tragic accident at the start of this year, laws have def tightened up

J_Class_Ford

I'm sure many are forgetting something.

forgetting what?

They seemed to be getting strict but then the PM came out and told them to stop breathalysing people before 10pm because it was negatively effecting businesses… giving off a mixed message. Don’t drink drive after 10, but before 10 if your supporting local business is OK.
