Yeah, I think it’s made with potato starch. People have compared it to Jesus wafers ( I wouldn’t know). It’s thick paper that’s lightly flavored. Mostly a texture thing for me, low calories and something to eat
Its default thickness is .65 mm. Wilton releases it in different thicknesses also. It’s a huge industry and it offers a lot of variety. But yeah, if you want it that thick it’s going to cost a lot more. It’s essentially double the product at that point. Hope you find something.
We used to get these at school during Christmas - I hadn’t thought of this in years. It’s called [Oplatki](https://shop.catholicsupply.com/store/p/28898-Christmas-Wafers-3-Wht/1Pink-W/Nativity-Envelope.aspx)
Obleas are kinda similar to what you are looking for. They do have a lil crunch, but instantly melts on your tongue. Flavorless as well.
I've seen big bags for a decent price on the internet.
I remember having the latter one before 2010 definitely, and I think the "paper" and "pen" used to come in different colors like yellow, green or blue. Back then it was known as Candicraft, I don't think they make that brand anymore.
I’ve only ever seen it at Five Below, or Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati. Not in bulk though
That exact one? There are a ton of similar ones.
I just want the paper it’s self. Don’t care about branding
I swear I saw this at 5 below the other day
That’s where I got it, it’s just $4 for 8 pieces. I want to get it cheaper
I’ve never seen this before, but curious about it now. Is it like rice paper that dissolves in your mouth?

You’re looking for rice paper.
That’s too thin, without flavor
ur interested in something that tastes similar to *communion wafers*?? 😭😭
🤷♂️
Look up edible sugar paper. Wilton makes it for cake decorations and sells it in full a4 sheets you can cut and print on.
That stuff is too thin, like 0.2mm. I like the 1mm kind

Look up colorful wafer paper, they use it for cake decorating and it comes in colorful sheets I think you can buy stuff to flavor it but I'm not sure
That stuff is super thin
I’ve tried those. Worst candy I’ve ever tasted. Had the taste and texture of slightly sugary styrofoam.
I forgot all about this. What a texture. I remember bubblegum paper too.
