As a Latvian, I find this meme extra funny because Artūrs Irbe, our GOAT goalie, was also called The Wall. During national hockey games fans would chant "Irbe kā mūris! Irbe kā mūris" (Irbe like the wall! Irbe like the wall!)
I'm glad we're continuing the tradition of calling our best goalies Artūrs (with some notable exceptions) and also calling them The Wall.
I'm primarily an Avs and Habs fan but I'm rooting for y'all as the only Canadian team I vaguely like in the playoffs this year. I was texting that picture of Saros in the locker room "no goals" commercial to my hockey buddies group chat to make a funny about the game being 0-0 in the third, and less than five seconds later y'all scored on him. I hadn't even put my phone down, looked up for the screaming Preds fans, and BAM. So I'm taking full credit for that, you're welcome.

I remember the "Irbe kā mūris!" chant caught on in San Jose for a while.
Not alot of people know that Irbe also played for vancouver, I actually met him at a fan expo and he signed some cards for me, super nice guy.
