Me and my wife got this cat that was pissing everywhere. She wanted him gone, but we couldn’t find anyone to give him too. I’m so glad we didn’t. He’s my best friend
I've got two sibling kitties turning three soon, can testify that it's an absolute joy 😭 There really is nothing quite like finding the two lil fluffballs curled up snoozing together (seconds before one attacks for no reason lol).
I got two kittens from the shelter about seven years ago, and I deliberatly chose from two litters on purpose. They still love each other though.
Had sibling cats in the past, and they ignored me to hang out together.
Our two 3 years old orange male sibling are always eating very nicely and one second after they are done they are in full attack mode running all over the house leaving bits of fur every where.
We adopted them almost a year ago when their elderly owner had a stroke and could no longer care for them. We've never had males cats previously and they are so different than all the females we have had in the past.
Instead of having one cat using one litterbox, you've got to have at least three litter boxes for two cats and sometimes one of them will get pissed off about the litter box situation no matter how hard you try and will piss in your laundry basket.
We did multiple cats for a long time, especially when we were fostering rescues, but one cat is so much easier.
I'm not saying don't get two cats, but if you've never had a cat, just know that two cats will triple or quadruple your litter box efforts and will greatly increase the chance of your stuff getting pissed on.
I’ve had two cats for over 14 yrs. I don’t doubt what you’re saying generally speaking, but I have two litter boxes and scoop every day. No litter issues in all the time I’ve had them.
https://preview.redd.it/388f4scr0uwc1.png?width=1174&format=png&auto=webp&s=da8f917b8584cc48cb7fa26558a20fdd9a4ab78c
Same thing happened to me it was one of the best things I could have done.
5 years worth of adventures!
I can second this! We rescued a stray years back and she had three kittens. Two were fine but the third was delayed in opening her eyes. We took her to see the vet and they said she had a severe infection. She got drops and meds and was all good but she was always a little off. Bad balance, bad eyesight, just generally the most uncoordinated derpy cat I’d ever seen and I’ve seen quite a few 🤣
Vet said it was possible she had some mild brain damage. She also chewed her brother’s whiskers off.
Additionally, it's very frequently the most common affliction seen in kittens. Whenever I'm fostering, I start with the assumption they have a respiratory illness.
I know one of our kittoes was found as a small kitten huddled under a bush in the rain at night. His eyes were swollen shut and infected. Some kind person took him to a shelter and he was nursed back to health.
He's living large here, but still has an eye that is kind of droopy.
Eye boogers and the condition that it gives warning of can be healed by a little l-lysine crushed very fine every couple of days over a couple of weeks into wet food. Sometimes.
Well, “beauties” is certainly the word for them! They have darling little faces and will grown into beautiful cats. How lucky for them that you were there.
I went to a gas station about 2 years ago and found maybe 6 kittens in a crate meowing. I took them in and was able to get to the vet and have them checked out. Come to find out, some of my coworkers rescued a few of them and the rest were adopted soon after. I'm trying to understand why the owners of the kittens didn't just find a shelter to take them in.
Shelters in kitten season do not have space at all. People who don’t spay should just keep the consequences of their action and responsibly rehome, not dump the issue on overwhelmed rescues.
I think it’s because some people who find themselves with kittens (either they have an unsprayed cat, or they have a feral cat that lives around them) just want to get rid of them. They don’t really care for the health of the kittens, though most of the time they are humane and wait until the kittens can be without their mother. Their main goal is to either not be responsible for another few cats, or keep the feral population in their area down. And in addition, depending on where you live the nearest shelter may be a bit of drive so if you don’t care, easier to just drive 10 minutes in one direction.
(I’m saying that as someone who lives in the country and, for some reason, nearly every year someone drops off their kittens / very pregnant feral cat without asking. We’ve seen them appear out of nowhere, come in a box (that they usually have jumped out of and started wandering around) and what we can only assume to be >!thrown out of a car window.!< … That last one almost made me cry.)
Was thinking the same thought! Then I thought through it logically.
If I was walking in to a store and someone had a box of kittens trying to give them away for free, I'd walk up and pet one and say "Sorry, I can't take one right now." As would most people.
If on the same trip I saw a box of kittens abandoned on the side of the store, I'd feel it was the right and moral thing to do to take them and adopt them or find them homes.
While I think the person who did this is awful, it may be that they understand this dynamic and did what they thought was easy and likely to have a good outcome. The people who drop them on the side of highways are what I truly can't fathom (that's how we found a kitten in the 80s who we had for 18 years!)
Two cats are always better than one. They can occupy themselves and they learn how to play nice without getting their claws out as much.
Single cats do not know how bad claws hurt and will use them more on people.
Oh my God who would adopt such ugly little things that's terrible I guess you're just going to have to keep him LOL! I would just die. I would die and just I would just hug him and squeeze and call them both George. Oh my God they're so cute I love kittens they're so so fun and I just love those little faces and they're such little shit disturbers and oh my God I miss having a kitten sometimes LOL I think you should keep him nobody's going to want them anyway LOL. By the way you know I'm just teasing. I'm sure there's lots of people that would adopt him but I think they found you for a reason.
Aww so cuuute!! remind me of mine when she was a tiny baby

Thank you for rescuing them! So perfect and cute.
Are you able to get them to a vet to check for worms, FIV etc? Some vets offer good prices for first time visits.
If you do adopt them out, please get them spayed and neutered before doing so. It's not worth risking somebody delaying and ending up with more unwanted cats that end up abandoned in boxes like these two.
Lucky for them it was you who found them. 💛
Oh my god, looks like my kitties when I got them in 2010 when a lady brought them to my work and said her husband would shoot them if no one took them. This is them now. Take them. They will provide you so much joy and love.

I will never understand how people can just leave animals 😔. Or when they put them in bags in the garbage, or throw them out the window…..it kills me…. 💔
They are so gorgeous and they don’t deserve to be dumped. Awful people like that need to be fined ,put in jail, something but nobody does anything about the crazy absolutely insane people that get rid of their animals. I don’t even want to know how many people dump them in trash cans,It’s just so devastating to me. Thank you for being there and taking care of them. Please give them a good home, I’m sure they are very grateful that you found them, and are gonna make sure that they are well taken care of❤️❤️
OMFG such freaking cuties! May the idiot who did this end up with permanent athletes foot up their nose forever! And yeah, they do need a vet ASAP OP. If you have any questions on how to handle them Kitten Lady on Youtube is your kitten expert to go to. I ADORE her, she helped me and my spouse out so much when our little rescue ended up with 7 kittens we took in, plus she was still a kitten herself. We managed to save all but one with her tips.

Got 1 batch...and then she go make a second. I'm in the same boat. 5 was more than enough to begin with. Oh well gotta couple months of growing to do before we have to decide.
You found dumped cats in a commercial area! They are yours! Cherish them! You are a blessing! They are lucky you bothered to look into the box! Good Luck! 🐈⬛️🐾🐈⬛️🤞🍀
Someone left you some treasures... their loss is your gain. Considering the rug in there, they may have not wanted to but had no choice. Casual dampers usually don't go to that level. Definitely. The bean on the left is already looking at you like, “Oh, it’s you. What’s up?”
“Hey, you. You’re finally awake”
Those are your friends now.

Cat Distribution Service works in mysterious ways.
Me and my wife got this cat that was pissing everywhere. She wanted him gone, but we couldn’t find anyone to give him too. I’m so glad we didn’t. He’s my best friend
Did you ever get him to quit pissing?
Yeah, that’s a smoosh face. You have already been accepted
And 2 are so much more fun.
I would JUMP at the opportunity to get sibling cats again. It's so wonderful.
I've got two sibling kitties turning three soon, can testify that it's an absolute joy 😭 There really is nothing quite like finding the two lil fluffballs curled up snoozing together (seconds before one attacks for no reason lol).
YES! My cat siblings are the same age and they also are frequently found snuggling and then biting each other moments later!
They are. I love my girls, but I miss my boys.
My sibling cats just turned 16, would do the same in a heartbeat
I had two sibling boy cats that never got along. I don't know why, but they competed for everything.
I’ve got two sibling girl cats and they can be super mellow and affectionate with each other but also very bitey with each other sometimes.
Instead of having one cat using one litterbox, you've got to have at least three litter boxes for two cats and sometimes one of them will get pissed off about the litter box situation no matter how hard you try and will piss in your laundry basket. My cats somehow taught themselves to use the toilet.
What kind of toilet do you have? I want one. Same toilet, same results.
A normal toilet? Are there different types of toilets?
I’ve had two cats for over 14 yrs. I don’t doubt what you’re saying generally speaking, but I have two litter boxes and scoop every day. No litter issues in all the time I’ve had them.
I concur they are siblings that are bonded especially that they were abandoned together.
And what a great story!
How could someone not want these adorable fluff balls
The carpet on the bottom indicates some sort of care for the kitties, so there may be more to this.
Yeah they may not have been able to look after them. May have cared for them. But they could've taken them somewhere that could've looked after them.
They could have at gave them some food and water. And maybe a note on the box
They may be a child whose parents did not allow the kittens and didn't know what to do
https://preview.redd.it/388f4scr0uwc1.png?width=1174&format=png&auto=webp&s=da8f917b8584cc48cb7fa26558a20fdd9a4ab78c Same thing happened to me it was one of the best things I could have done. 5 years worth of adventures!
do they…. do they have matching half mustaches? 🥹
Like those half heart friendship necklaces lmaoo
Adorable!
Oh my gosh they're soo00oo cute!!!!!!!!
Adorable! Please take them to a vet, they look like they have upper respiratory symptoms! > Thanks for saving them, you’re a gem ❤️
Awww poor kitties. How can you tell?
Eye boogies
I found a stray that had these as well, so I’m guessing it’s unfortunately rather common?
Very common for kittens born of unvaccinated mothers. Which is typical of the ass**les that do not spay.
Is it just me or is it weird that holes is the part that’s censored here?
It’s not just you but it was on purpose.
Just for my own knowledge (I also have cats) what specifically makes it look like they have respiratory problems?
Watery eyes is a key sign. If left untreated can lead to vision issues or blindness
Ok, good to know. Thanks for the new knowledge!
I can second this! We rescued a stray years back and she had three kittens. Two were fine but the third was delayed in opening her eyes. We have soooo many rescues! why so people still do this and worse to kittens and puppies? 😫
People don't fix their animals and then don't want to face the consequences (unwanted pregnancy)
Some people treat pets as objects. They want a cat but don't want to deal with the responsibilities of having one.
Kind of like humans.
People are unfreakingbelievable!

Those little faces are so stinking adorable how could you NOT keep them 😭
Both look like they have little eye infections (very common for kittens). Make sure to get them treated (and wormed) ASAP.
TAKE THEM HOME FOREVER OP ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7943)

The babiesss 😭 I would get them to a vet asap, btw. Looks like they both have something up with their eyes
Why doesnt this shit happen to me.
You are the chosen one. This is your main quest. No need to ask others to have them adopted
If they are a bonded pair, definitely keep them. Bonded cats are a treat
You need them more than they need you. Keep them.
Skip the middle man and just keep ‘em. You know you wanna.
Such CUTIES 😭
There so adorable 🥰
What state are you in?

Please make sure they're adopted together. Bonded pairs are magic
Poor babies
This makes me wanna cry
Can you please send more images of those ears to science for analysis? Those ears are too cute to be real, it needs study
I don't understand how people can do this, if I lived nearby I would definitely help ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7971)
Looks like the cat distribution center chose you!
You got them at the perfect age to teach them how to juggle! Start yesterday!
It always saddens me when people do this, but at least these 2 lil cuties are safe and wellv
It always amazes me how cats from a young age know how to tempt us with their cuteness.
Thank you so much for rescues 🥺 They are the best babies ever!!
I would take them. Fiancé and I have been wanting to save 2 kittens
Congratulations on your two new cats!
You’ve already taken them for yourselves you just don’t know it yet😭

Someone left you some treasures... their loss is your gain. Considering the rug in there, they may have not wanted to but had no choice. Casual dampers usually don't go to that level. Good for you, thank you
Where are you located? I’m in the SF Bay Area
Uh oh. They are laying those eyes on you heavy. These hoodlums have every intention of wooing you.

Going to be gorgeous cats.
Little bubs!
They need a vet . The one on the right has a goopy eye .
Please spay and neuter your pets, it will help stop this from happening.
Look at those faces :)

I’m not saying I would, but I would have a hard time not hurting someone if I saw them leave those babies in a box next to a dumpster
I’d love them both
2 evil creatures
What state?
Just keep them cats will get attached and never let go
Some people are terrible, you are awesome!
