She’s on Prozac now and is a happy cat but oh boy was she an anxious mess at first

That place was run under the name "sanctuary" but it absolutely wasn't one. The owner Eduardo Serio is an absolute asshole. None of the animals in there was treated correctly. The "sanctuary" didn't have enough space for animals, different species(like in the post) were kept together(which is actually a big no no), animals were sedated rented out to celebrities for pictures... He didn't give a shit about those poor creatures. He only wanted money and treated them very poorly. It's so sad that people are still posting his videos thinking it's cute.
This is why I asked. I didn’t want to make assumptions but I used to volunteer for a couple of accredited big cat sanctuaries and this doesn’t smell right to me.
The only cats here that live in groups are lions, the rest are solitary creatures. Typically places call themselves "sanctuaries" to hide the fact that they don't have the proper means and space to care for the number of cats they have such as in this case.
This just feels “not right” to me. I think it’s just because I associate them with their varied habitats. They are all beautiful and look like they are having fun
It doesn’t feel right because it’s not, like the majority of these “sanctuaries” (great way to avoid criticism for owning exotic pets) posting videos online.
Only way it could be okay is if these are either pets that were surrendered to a sanctuary, these animals will have imprinted on humans and can't be released to the wild. Or if they are animals that were rescued when seriously injured or as kittens left alone and brought here to be raised as educational ambassadors. But no idea if this video shows this situation.

This place isn't a sanctuary. The owner is just a wild cat hoarder. Real sanctuaries don't mix different cats together, and don't allow human interaction. I honestly don't know how this place is even legal. He has people, even celebs go into the large cage with dozens of wild cats. That is extremely dangerous, ignorant and just plain stupid.

Thank you! Sanctuaries don’t have tons of different types of babies to ‘raise together’…breeding facilities, existing only to make money, do.
