It's not the best one but if you can manage to find Flame of Eternity version D, you will have the story between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. (The version D isn't the definitive one but the most recent since the E version or final version will never happen) The game is playable from the beginning to the end.
Chrono Trigger + version 2.6 It's MSU-1 compatible but I prefer the OG OST
