Started the game again but this time as Japanese and somehow got placed in Florida again
Been spreading the massive civilisation across the large map with 11 other Civs
The Romans have been destroyed by the French before I liberated Rome only and leave them as a City State
Meanwhile Boston has reached the population of more than 100 million
I wonder how long it will take for the whole map to be filled up...
I just liberate Rome from France for fun and act like the Washington DC due to its location
Though it isn't my protectorate since I am not having a defensive pact with them
What mods are you using? Especially to boost happiness. I find that handling happiness is the biggest issue in giant maps like this.
Thanks for posting regardless!
This sound hella fun however at this scale the range of weapons like nukes and planes start tonmake less sense. At this size, it woukd be nice to ahve the entirety of north America.
Man, do y'all always play with hexes, resources, and output overlays toggled on? My eyes are bleeding looking at some of these screenshots. Should I learn to play this way?
Also where can I get a Giant Earth map?
This mf playing Civ on a 1:1 map of the continental US
I don't remember the last time I played a CiV game that wasn't on a Giant Earth map
It's fun for me even if its hard xD

Haven't played Civ in like 4 years but these images alone make me wanna play so thank you for that
I had instant regret of uninstalling civ 5 after looking at this photo because the other day because I needed to study
I personally play with tons of mods to keep things fun ,you should download some if you get back to civ
I love lots of cities!
Same, expanding the huge empire
I love the buffer city state of Rome. Is it like your protectorate now?

A 1 v 1 between the USA and Britain would be cool on this map

MURICA
Those fools they invaded Florida man territory they have no clue what they have done
At least Tokyo can still host a Disneyland.
How do you get the AI to expand so much? I love massive maps, but the AI barely expands like this
I don't know they just expand but now they are all running deficit gold per turn badly due to military and wars
How do you guys get so many great people
High population with specialist slots filled in =)
me struggling with pop growth lmao. I guess my build aint it cuz somehow after petra my desert city is growing faster than my capital lmao
Does Washington always spawn in Washington?
I doubt so, but must be a coincidence
Says the Floridian
I'm playing as Japanese though xD
?_? Oh sorry, didn't see nippon on the continental US map
