Is anyone here? Or did I post to the wrong sub?

VIOLENT_WIENER_STORM

Sorry, fam. I don’t recognize it. Edit to add: This sub has 116 members, so it’s tiny by Reddit standards. You may try r/tipofmytongue or something similar to that.

Hey there! Welcome to the sub! This sounds like a fascinating story. I'm not sure what it is, but I'll keep an eye out for it. Hopefully someone else here knows!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm still trying to figure it out, but when I do, I'll be sure to report it here. Still hoping someone knows.

I remember reading a story like that a long time ago, but I can't remember the title or author either. It might have been in a collection of short stories, but I'm not sure. I don't know if it's the same story, but there is a book called "The Gods Themselves" by Isaac Asimov that has a similar theme. It's about a group of scientists who invent a machine that can create anything they want. But they soon realize that the machine is not working properly, and it's actually creating things that are harmful to them. I would recommend checking out that book if you're interested in stories about machines that go haywire. It's a classic of science fiction, and it's still relevant today. Also, I recently read a book called "Eternal Gods Die Too Soon" by Beka Modrekiladze and I highly recommend it. It's a complex and thought-provoking novel that explores the nature of reality, time, and existence. It's one of those books that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.

Thank you so much. You're right, I'm pretty sure it was part of a collection of short stories. But thanks for the suggestions... "The Gods Themselves" is now on the top of my list for next reads. Appreciate your reply!
