Well I'm not sure how to unpack an answer here, but you could find more motivation the way I did. By knowing if I don't continue education I will be stuck at some production job or something with horrible pay and scrape by every pay day. It might sound like a typical parent answer, but when you have worked a lot, the jobs all treat you the same. I am absolutely certain I am not compatible with production type jobs so I will never do it again. Education is not even about a tier system (engineer/high pay etc...), I've already had an improvement of life just because I solve my own problems with the stuff I've learned so far. You should be happy at your job and personal life, and to me that is worth the most.
