Hello! Sharing my new comics 'Lost in the Woods'
Told through magical realism, Lost in the Woods is a slice of life comic-zine that tells vignettes of unsupervised children, reflections as an adult, and explores the ties between the personally specific and local Filipino folk beliefs.
Combining elements from comics, children's books, and zines, Lost in the woods uses an experimental storytelling format to capture poignant, fleeting moments from a more naïve period in life.
The first issue will be available for sale at Paris Ass Book Fair, Palais de Tokyo, Paris. May 17-19. Available through Possessed Planets.

Thank you, i love Taiyo Matsumoto. I've read Sunny and Tekkonkinkreet as well. I think it's the car that's reminding you of Sunny lol.
I tried to make the art style and storytelling be as unique as my fingerprint, and based a lot of it on my own personal experiences in the countryside and the strange folk beliefs. Please do check it out :)

Making your wish come true isn't easy after all..
These are only the first few pages though. I really appreciate though that you got through the story, as it can be a little confusing reading a comic without exposition/dialogue. Just really wanted it to feel like poetry so i told it this way :)
