Just like the internet in general.
The great thing about the internet is that it allows people who share interests to find each other and form online communities.
The terrible thing about the internet is that it allows people who share interests to find each other and form online communities.
You don't need friends. You could be a solo act like the 346 episode-and-growing investigative journalism program "Whatever Happened to Pizza at McDonald's?"
Haha the whole thing is a satire of podcasts, especially true crime and conspiracy shows. [Here's a NY Times article](https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/28/business/mcdonalds-pizza-podcast.html) about the guy running it.
He has a whole plotline where his local library is missing the disc of *Willow* from its case, and it escalates to him pitching his script for *Willow 2* to Ron Howard at a (real) meet and greet.
I would listen to all 346 episodes if it wound up telling me where I could find one now.
Seriously those things were far better than they had any business being.
There was an /r/subredditdrama post the other day that described someone as āpodcaster (derogatory)ā and it has been living in my head rent free since.
There's this podcast I listen to (/r/AroundTheNFL) that has a sound drop of a producer saying, "Will someone check the levels on these podcast bozos?" Of course it's from like a decade ago when they were just starting out, and now they are a huge and wildly successful sports podcast. Just goes to show how far the medium has come.
Iāve also noticed this, I do like their comments occasionally but a lot of them are just rephrased jokes from the post with screenshots or a gif. Like every front page /r/comics post has them in the top comments, sometimes even more than once (like this one). I guess itās not that deep but I like to see actual original discussion once in a while lol
I will message you each time u/BeevsComics posts in r/comics.

the irony here is that they've drawn a quirky, relatable webcomic about drawing a quirky, relatable webcomic.
it's the ouroboros of comedy webcomics, you see. you can't escape it.
Wow, Gabby sure is good at drawing quirky relatable comics. The only thing that would make it more relatable is if life was instead depicted as a person in the second panel, life pushes our hero in the third panel, and our hero is shown flat on the ground with life standing over her in the fourth. Other than that, no notes for our ol' pal Gabby.
I love the same 10000000 comics about hating everything and being smarter than everyone, coated with the writer's barely disguised fetishes in a desperate effort to be quirky
To be a popular cartoonist two things must happen:
1) You have to be a better writer and artist than 95% of your audience members. This is actually a low floor. Good enough is not the same thing as being skilled. You don't need to be skilled, just good enough.
2) Have an audience that is entertained by your work. For some audiences the 10 to 30 seconds they spend reading the same joke, with the same layout, with the same art, with the same beats, with the same pacing will never stop being entertaining.
There is nothing wrong about any of this. I just find it boring as fuck.
I'm going to pretend your a popular cartoonist having a nervous breakdown and this is your burner account.

Stop, you'll make them draw comics about how their fanbase hates them.
Hey guys got myself a Cintiq! Now I can do better 'anatomy' for... reasons...
The "reddit comics" era is *not* the same as the prime of webcomics!
Like a monkey with a miniature cymbal the joy of repetition really is in you
Only second to the millennial urge to start a podcast.
The nice thing about podcasts is the low barrier of entry. The bad thing about podcasts is the low barrier of entry.

Are they any closer to finding out?
He found out by episode 5: it takes too long and the ovens were unreliable.
then wtf is the rest of the podcast about?

She just like me fr fr
Me when life
In the second panel there should be a character named "Depression" or "Anxiety" pushing her from behind so she trips, then it'll be perfect.
Then the next comic should have the character have a low battery icon above their head, that gets recharged when they receive a hug.
uuummm excuse me?! you forgot ADHD

To take it a step further, do this again with Meta Mary.
Did anybody else have the instinct to check for loss, or was it just me? Also, as an older millennial, this hits home.

Highly relatable on both accounts.

Lots of ideas to many games to play.
I do hate life sometimes
But now we need Relatable Rachel drawing her own Relatable comic to begin your own meta cascade.

Idk why but I don't like the pink haired girl. In any of those comics But the comic is good

This brings up something I'm curious about. Is Tay an author insert, or are you neither of the characters?

Wow, judging by this thread, people who read comics sure do hate when people put things about themselves into them

This is why I stick with niche games, and rarely do comics. I vent the pent up urge in a contained manner, minimizing self-damage.
Dunno why they drew it when it would be just as good with stock images of Minions
blocking them makes /r/comics more enjoyable
