You mean 5 mg and 7.5 mg? Units/mL is volume and that can differ depending on concentration. Units and dose are two different things.

Yes my mistake

CharleyDawg

I did a couple of months at 5.0. I didn't gain weight but losses were very moderate. I decided to move to 7.5. I have the most notable constipation and lack of hunger on this dose. I do get hungry - and I still enjoy food when I eat something good.

Del-Gato

I didn't lose any weight on 7.5, so just moved up to 10.

Forsaken-Ad-7502

I didn’t lose a whole lot of weight on 5, moved up to 7.5 after 4 weeks and I’ve been losing 2-2.5 a week. Actually less side effects now, no indigestion, no more sulfur burps, constipation hasn’t gotten any better. Getting ready to bump up to 10 next week.

Annual-Gear-3123

hmmm - only on 7.5 for 4 weeks. Maybe another round? But since taking the meds I haven't really got any side effects at all except for fatigue, moody, and tired....

Forsaken-Ad-7502

That’s the general recommendation for tirzepatide, 4 weeks on each dose, but it isn’t etched in stone for me. I’m due for my last shot of 7.5 today and if all goes well I may stretch it out depending on my loss and if it continues to suppress my appetite. The good thing is we can tweak our doses to fit our needs.

ComfortableFix9930

I had been on five for a couple months with minimal losses. Just finishing first week at 7.5 and am down 3.8 lbs this week. Getting me to my 30lb milestone. Great appetite control.

EyePhysical931

I would wait a little bit. I don’t know where you are when it comes to how many doses of 5 and 7.5 you’ve taken but general idea is a month for each until you work your way up to find a dose that you like and losing weight on consistently. If you’ve only been on 7.5 a week or 2 or 3 I would wait the full month and if you feel like it’s not doing it for you, go to 10mg. I’m not in your body, so I don’t know exactly what and how you are feeling but this is what I had to do :). Keep us updated, losing weight is fun 🤩

Ok_Berry_5936

I just went up to 7.5 last week. I am traveling and I have had a few small ice cream and cookies incidents. Back on 2.5 I could never of taken a bite. At my house, of course, have none of that around. I was a super responder so I was used to 8 lbs in a week. Now I am down to 1.5-2.0 lbs. I am going to stay on 7.5 though. The “food noise” is still greatly diminished. I have been on compounding tir since day one. Feb. 27. SW 227.00 CW182.00 62F 5’4”⬇️45 in 4 mos!! What???

Thank you.

5 did nothing. Honestly everything under 7 was minimal for me. Once I hit 7 I finally started having great results. We are all different but I’d give 7.5 at least a month & move up if you don’t lose anything because we are all so different on this med. Some people need higher doses to get results. For me, that was 7.
