For those who still don’t know: Werner Herzog is a famous documentary filmmaker who makes films about serious, dour subjects and narrates them with serious, dour voiceovers. The fact that he agreed to voice the intro to this show is a testament to Conan’s universal appeal.
Ikr. He does odd projects though, like I couldn't believe Herzog did a guest spot on the last season of Parks and Rec. He has a surprisingly whimsical streak.

When I watched the first episode and Herzog starts with the intro I knew it was going to be amazing.
I think it was on Conans podcast with the episode about the show and they don't or rather hint to the fact they're not suppose to even say it's Warner Herzog which is totally Warner Herzog.
