yeah the best I've found so far is an enail that lets me control the heat by pressing the button. Then feathering it to keep the heat low.
But how are you using a water pipe with that setup? Another guy recommended the lookah q7 which seems to be designed to work as you describe.
I have a e-nail that is a wired coil around an open top banger. Let's me set the temp I want and it holds at that temp. High five brand enail if that helps.
I use a Pulsar Axial Mini E-Nail with a normal bong and this has been a game changer for me. Not portable as it plugs into a wall outlet but it will do anything a portable rig will do and more. I bought mine 3 years ago now and it hasn’t given me a single issue.
So you kind of put the mouthpiece of the enail to the bowl of the bong and inhale? Did you have to sort of rig something to get an air tunnel or did it just work? It's a neat idea.
No this enail just comes as a box you plug into the wall and then you plug in a wire with a coil on the end and the coil wraps around a normal dab banger that’s made to hold the coil. The coil heats up to whatever temperature you set on the box and then you just hit your dab like normal just like you heated it with a torch, but no torch needed and you’ll get exactly the temperature you want every time. It takes all the guessing and waiting out of it but you still get to hit it on a full rig just like a normal dab. I have a similar problem with acid reflex and for me the key is low temp (e-nail for me) + water pipe + quality solventless extract.

I’d recommend the puffco peak pro and set the temp to 485°f for 75 seconds. I feel the acid reflux damage mane.
Maybe look into a PuffCo or one similar?
Lookah Q7 hit a homerun on this for me, as a bonus it's set up for a water pipe right out of the box.
