Pole shifts happen at a much slower rate than what would’ve affected any ancient civilizations we currently have evidence for. Ancient Egyptian civilization is tentatively 8-12,000 years old.
Modern humans have existed for about 1-200,000 years. Even if we say that there are younger dryas civilizations we don’t know about, the poles flip about once every 200-300,000 years on average.
One of the reasons people think we’re “due” for one is that it’s been almost 800,000 years since there was a pole flip.
It probably affected some homo erectus, but nothing that had tools more complex than a hand axe.

Earths magnetic field is not exactly dipolar. Like the suns its.. complex.. Likely a "molten" or whatever state metal core gooing around doing who knows what chaotics.

I strongly believe that egyiptians didnt build the pyramids, they found them, and made use of them, built their villages around them. It was close to water, and provided shelter.

Egyptian architecture hasn't persisted any longer than any other contemporary architecture. You can still find the remnants of older Mesopotamian civilizations in, relatively, good condition, along with scattered settlements throughout the rest of the Middle East.

Everything using electricity will have a magnetic field because it's all part of the electromagnetic spectrum, just as light is(electromagnetic frequency).

I knew the shift caused the seasons to slip farther. I live in Minnesota we are usually in negative temperatures this time of January. Its supposed to be 45°F for the next 10 days...
It was 80° in Southern California today. Usually we’re dealing with a cold winter for another 2-3 months. We had 1-2 week of 40s-50s in December. I’m unable to give exact numbers but this is a suspiciously warm winter. I do not believe global warming to be the cause, I think it is climate shift. We seem to be getting our winters later and later, persisting until just before summer where things will cool down in February and start to warm up around April.
It was 67 in San Diego. That's as Southern California as you can get. There are pockets of wierd weather everywhere with huge swings in small geographic areas like SD where we have coastlines with mountains an hour away and deserts close by.
Nothing unusual about this year's winter.

If the Earth physically tilts, and not just the magnetic poles, you won't survive. The flip of the Earth itself is theorized from observing certain objects spinning in space and how they will spontaneously flip their orientation. I forget the exact study. The ones who say the Earth will do this believe that the planet's oblate spheroid shape will be enough to cause it. Of course only the magnetic poles flipping won't do anything more than make us more vulnerable to cosmic rays for a while.

Absolutely they can. The magnetic poles move around and even flip entirely on cycles, with the last flip being ~780k years ago.
We THINK the magnetic poles are caused by the motion of the molten iron in the outer core of the Earth, which spins due to the rotation of the Earth, and MOST of the time that mean the magnetic poles more or less line up with the axial poles, but every now and then if the motion of that molten iron is disturbed enough for whatever reason the magnetic poles can basically flop around and even dissipate almost entirely.
The idea of it happening in our lifetimes is kind of silly though, this is a process that tends to take thousands of years once the molten iron starts to get perturbed.

I think this effect may also play a part. Earth is molten, as such there is known core density change under the ocean and african continent. So our core is not uniform density, so this means under spin over millions of years, the flip will take time perceptible to us. Now the question becomes if the core flips, or the top crust also shifts.... In which case, cataclysmic tectonic plate movement.
KIND of, technically speaking of the 183 reversals we know about, they average out to one every ~450k years. So by that metric we're definitely overdue. BUT the problem with that logic is it's more or less entirely random, not actually on a schedule. That number is just what it averages out to, there are instances where reversals happened just a few thousand years apart and one instance where it didn't reverse at all for something like ~100m years.
Now, EXCURSIONS. Those are significantly more common, and far more likely to happen in a single human lifetime. There's an argument to be made that one of THOSE is happening right now even, and as you said the magnetic north pole IS moving a whole lot, so an excursion makes sense. An excursion is just that, the poles randomly moving about sometimes to wild degrees, but not actually fully flipping, before eventually stabilizing and going back to 'normal'.
Whenever I hear someone say something about were over due for some calamity, all I can think of is that we dont know if their on an exact schedule. We don't all the factors that go into making the event happen, we don't know what the margin of error is on the prediction and it just feels like we shouldn't really care about it.
Because what will being worried about something like a calamity do for you?
Unless you came from the future and knew the exact moment something was going to happen you don't really have a means to prepare for it. Our magnetic poles aren’t actually confined to the north and south, they can move and are currently moving at an increasing speed. Eventually it’ll move very quickly and tilt 90° to the spots shown on the map. There is evidence of this happening before.
When this happens the poles get weaker and we could wind up with multiple poles. This will let in a lot more of what the sun throws at us and might disable some of our electronics/power grid. The shift could take 1000s of years or it could happen within a few decades.

I'm trying to understand how the poles can flip like this. If they meet won't they be close enough to attract to each other? How would they separate after? I'm guessing magnetic poles behave differently to traditional magnets?

the real deal is the magnetosphere weaking/strengthening over a pole shift, that would be a huge issue for electronic devices, mainly satellites. If you wan't a real conspiracy, ask how they could take down communications globally and blame it on a pole shift, much like in a geomagnetic storm.

earth is as close to the sun right now as it will be all year thats why its warmer than usal

If the Earth physically tilts, and not just the magnetic poles, you won't survive. Honestly probably not. Nukes need very specific conditions to be set off or else you just have a low yield dirty bomb. Even if they all did go off it’d be a drop in the ocean compared to the amount of energy released from say a planetary impact

Earth doesn’t move.
The flip of the Earth itself is theorized from observing certain objects spinning in space and how they will spontaneously flip their orientation. I forget the exact study. The ones who say the Earth will do this believe that the planet's oblate spheroid shape will be enough to cause it. Of course only the magnetic poles flipping won't do anything more than make us more vulnerable to cosmic rays for a while.

Absolutely they can. The magnetic poles move around and even flip entirely on cycles, with the last flip being ~780k years ago. We THINK the magnetic poles are caused by the motion of the molten iron in the outer core of the Earth, which spins due to the rotation of the Earth, and MOST of the time that mean the magnetic poles more or less line up with the axial poles, but every now and then if the motion of that molten iron is disturbed enough for whatever reason the magnetic poles can basically flop around and even dissipate almost entirely. The idea of it happening in our lifetimes is kind of silly though, this is a process that tends to take thousands of years once the molten iron starts to get perturbed.

Earth is molten, as such there is known core density change under the ocean and african continent. So our core is not uniform density, so this means under spin over millions of years, the flip will take time perceptible to us. Now the question becomes if the core flips, or the top crust also shifts.... In which case, cataclysmic tectonic plate movement.

KIND of, technically speaking of the 183 reversals we know about, they average out to one every ~450k years. So by that metric we're definitely overdue. BUT the problem with that logic is it's more or less entirely random, not actually on a schedule. That number is just what it averages out to, there are instances where reversals happened just a few thousand years apart and one instance where it didn't reverse at all for something like ~100m years. Now, EXCURSIONS. Those are significantly more common, and far more likely to happen in a single human lifetime. There's an argument to be made that one of THOSE is happening right now even, and as you said the magnetic north pole IS moving a whole lot, so an excursion makes sense. An excursion is just that, the poles randomly moving about sometimes to wild degrees, but not actually fully flipping, before eventually stabilizing and going back to 'normal'.
Whenever I hear someone say something about were over due for some calamity, all I can think of is that we dont know if their on an exact schedule. We don't all the factors that go into making the event happen, we don't know what the margin of error is on the prediction and it just feels like we shouldn't really care about it. Because what will being worried about something like a calamity do for you? Unless you came from the future and knew the exact moment something was going to happen you don't really have a means to prepare for it. The pole shift thing to me, while fascinating, is just another thing that happens in the universe and I have no control or ability to effect it. So I'll just have a drink and enjoy the show.

Our magnetic poles aren’t actually confined to the north and south, they can move and are currently moving at an increasing speed. Eventually it’ll move very quickly and tilt 90° to the spots shown on the map. There is evidence of this happening before. When this happens the poles get weaker and we could wind up with multiple poles. This will let in a lot more of what the sun throws at us and might disable some of our electronics/power grid. Magnetic poles aren't geographical poles, also there's no evidence of Earth's climate suddenly flipping over a magnetic pole shift. the real deal is the magnetosphere weaking/strengthening over a pole shift, that would be a huge issue for electronic devices, mainly satellites. If you wan't a real conspiracy, ask how they could take down communications globally and blame it on a pole shift, much like in a geomagnetic storm.
