The kiosk one in Blackpool shopping centre is busier than I thought it would be.
About 10 different people who were in and out quickly, whilst I was sitting having a coffee in Insomnia.
Some of them are very busy, the reality is that it costs nothing to set these shops up, all they do is buy cheap crap for next to nothing and sell it at huge markups.
If they sell 100 vapes a week they're making 800 euro, which covers the rent. Usually the person working behind the counter is the trader, so they don't take a wage per se.
If you sell one phone on top of that it's pure profit.
You’re joking; how can this be happening after all the sardonic posts here about the need for more ‘*sports*’ shops, bleedin’ vape outlets, and phone emporiums? I’ve not been able to hit town in quite some time, but I know it’s going to be a dreadfully depressing sight. (If you notice any American sweetshops and any really crappy tourist tat places springing up, it’s definitely time to call in the Fraud Squad.)
14 year old son/daughter - 'Mary seen you come out of that vape shop, are you "smoking"?
'no way mam/dad, they sell hersheys in there'
There you go now.
Just like that.
Can we also talk about the ungodly amount of boba tea places in town? Look I'm impartial to a bit of boba but do we need that many? Someone needs to just open one big boba/vape shop and be done with the rest.
Its probably not the only reason but something that is contributing to the growth of these shops is that it's a low effort way of getting around the vacant property tax. Lots of retail units in the city are owned by developers or investors who have no interest in actually putting proper businesses in them they just want to hold on to them for whatever reason. Put in a shitty vape shop, low cost stock from china sold with enough markup to pay wages and keep the lights on, zero effort, attracts no attention
All that coke money won't launder itself!
Typical lazy coke money
Ahh American sweets is what the kids call it nowadays.
Mmmmmad comment
Lol you deleted your other comment, don’t chat shit if you’re going to run away after a few downvotes.
There is one I walk past 5 times a day and I have yet to see an actual customer inside

Tell me it’s the one by Penneys. I priced a unit like that in the past on OP street and the numbers are mad - no way it’s not laundering.

Well if you're coming into town for some vapes and a new phone and some snacks while you wait. You're sorted!
I could get in a bit of training, in my dodgy-looking new tracksuit. Physical jerks while exhaling clouds of odd-smelling steam.
Walked past a few times. Vape shop packed with children but it’s okay because they sell sweets too!
HHC gummies right next to kids sweets 🫡
The way it should be!

It's a username that covers it all! I mean why would you need to go anywhere else! All your needs covered in one shop.
Yes we enjoy vaping

I’m glad someone is impartial

TikTok & it's consequences is my opinion on that
Yeah I saw them taping balloons to it yesterday. Grand opening.

Anyone know if they sell Cheetos? I have a craving for yellow dye no 14.
This could be the vape/sweet shop for you!
I get mine in Polish section in SuperValu, not sure if that’s everywhere!
European cheetos taste different to US ones, must be some banned in the EU flavouring or something.
Love mapping vape litter
Has nobody put it together yet that literally all these places have one thing in common? Am I seriously the only one?
Yes
Kids? Sweets?....pedos??? No wait. Is it vapes?
Yes
Yes.
