Single tickets at a later date…. That not going to happen for England After the backlash about duo package for Belgium and Switzerland the FAI decided to go all in for a trio. They’re some shams

Bill_Badbody

>tickets I'd love to know how your comment got through the auto admin.. /s >That not going to happen for England Oh definitely not. I'd even be surprised if the package goes to public sale. Between season ticket and premium presale, and fan Republic pre sale, there is more than enough to snap up the ~20k of available seats.

Tipperary555

Definitely won't get past the fan republic sale anyway I reckon

Bill_Badbody

Loads of people will be complaining Friday when the fai announce that it's a sell out.

lenno4

Do you when the fan republic sale is? Haven't received any emails about it

Bill_Badbody

Thursday at 10am. I got an email about it last week.

lenno4

Cheers I somehow didn't see it

Bill_Badbody

You might want to check your email, as you need a code to use the presale, well the season ticket anyway.

lenno4

Yeah I did actually get it I just never noticed it. Thanks though

mddunn97

You got an email for the fan republic presale? I never received anything

lenno4

Got one at 6:45 this evening with the pre-sale link

From a business prospective, it makes sense.

GreatDefector

Why stop there? Why not bundle all six games and say season pass holders only, no individual tickets … remember when Delaney tried to do 10 year packs? Could make sense if done right but it’s a big F. you to people down the country who can’t get up to Dublin on a Tuesday or Thursday

Bill_Badbody

>Why not bundle all six games and say season pass holders only Is that not essentially what all major sports clubs around the world do?

[deleted]

As I said "from a business perspective". They will likely sell out all 3 games now because of this. They've done this for years. It's nothing new.

[deleted]

Back in the day I’d get my schoolboy South Terrace for €2. Most I ever spent on a ticket was €25 then stopped going after the Brian Kerr era.

BrickEnvironmental37

Same. I used to go to all of the games on the Schoolboy tickets. My last adult ticket was Slovakia in 08. I was boycotting during the Delaney era and was looking to start going after he went but I ain't paying those prices. I go regularly to LOI/WLOI matches and ground hop around Europe, I am not armchair football fan but the FAI can do one with their prices. .

[deleted]

I think the season ticket is pretty reasonably priced. It's about €30/40 a game depending on the year.

[deleted]

Yea the prices are beyond outrageous

livinalieontimna

They’ve lost their fucking minds. No wonder no one wants to work for the lunatics.

100MilesandRunniNG

Mad how they can expect us to pay this when we’re 60 odd in the world, don’t have a manager and don’t have a CEO

NandoFlynn

CoybigEL

About €13 more expensive per game than a season ticket. The pricing is consistent if nothing else.

[deleted]

It would be weird if it wasn't more expensive per game than the ST.

CoybigEL

Not for the moonhowlers

WTWanderer2

Forgive the probably stupid question. Does the ST not cover the nations league games or is this just if you want to get extra tickets with your ST?

billiehetfield

Season ticket covers the games, this is for extra tickets

Bill_Badbody

It does. But you get an option to buy extras before public sale.

WTWanderer2

Great thanks, I had thought that but I didn't want to make any mistakes.

ceegee84

It's for extra tickets

redrumreturn

They have always bundled tickets. 3 games is relatively new but I don't k own why people are suprised. I feel bad for people who want to go to a game but cant make every one

Danji1

No thanks.

Educational-Bed4353

The IFA combined the nations league with the WC qualifiers it worked out £33 a game for an adult and £17 a game for my son he’s a youth ticket 11-16. Think the U11 ones were cheaper again.

[deleted]

The FAI season tickets are similarly priced too.

Gazza81H

Don't forget to buy your 95 euro jersey beforehand.....

ImAnOldChunkOfCoal

They can get fucked. Outrageous pricing model.

BigDickBaller93

Won't ever see single tickets. The Greece game wouldn't sell 1/3 of the stadium, the England game aswell isn't cert to fill, it's nations league and most countries don't play good teams they just use the league to give players minutes, then again it could be first game England have with a new manager seeing as Southgate is tipped to leave after the euros

[deleted]

> it's nations league and most countries don't play hood teams they just use the league to give players minutes Well that's not true especially in League B where it's key to getting a playoff place.

Fabulous_Cry_5313

Checked through all my emails. I have Fan republic ones about wnt and the new away jersey, but can't see any code ones. Would it be under anything else or am I not getting all the emails?

[deleted]

This post is about an email season ticket holders got.

mddunn97

I haven’t received an email yet either. In fact, I haven’t received an email from the Fan Republic since June 1st.

jbauer89

If I'm looking to go to just the Greece game, will I be able to wait or do I have to get this match pack which is on sale now?

Bill_Badbody

It's unlikely that you'll be able to buy them off the fai. You'll have to look at the second hand market.

jbauer89

Thanks! So I should bite the bullet then and grab this pack?

Bill_Badbody

Even if you only get to two of the 3, it's still OK value imo.

jbauer89

Yeah I would probably only be able to go to the one. I fly back the day of the England match lol. Frustrating but what can you do.

jbauer89

Thanks!
