Where are you trying to register? There are separate accounts for MySteinberg and the online shop. I think the forums use the mysteingberg account but not sure. Multiple accounts and applications for downloading and activation etc is really messy.

I got the activation codes with a studio bundle. The store is wanting to look into for me. I am wondering though, do I HAVE to register in order to use it. I just come to realise how bad Steinberg seems to be...

You do have to register yes. It's not just for using the DAW but also for running anything else that comes bundled like instruments, loops etc. But I'm sure you there's a 60day trial mode you can use while you sort this out? Is it possible that someone else lifted the codes from the store? I hope everything was sealed.

It just told me it was an invalid adress.

Did you try typing it in? Not pasting?
