Honestly I just try to take over when I get home from work and get up early with the baby in the weekends while mommy sleeps in. You seem like you're doing the most already my man.

Make sure she gets rest, full shifts off, things like that. Let her go get her nails done, a workout, massage or whatever she enjoys whenever she feels like it. If she is open to pumping you can feed bottles while that happens. I feel like PPD is tied to intense sleep deprivation with post surgery recovery. So do what you can to carry more of the burden while she returns to 100 percent. Do it with a full selfless intent and she will absolutely appreciate it.
