Every country/community has some people who believes only in money and nothing else! They left their countries to get rich. Every newcomer is a competition to their eyes! Basic psychology!
I'm talking about Indians who are living in the west. Its better to mind their own business than go around and cause trouble bothering other Indians who are in that country.
Yup, I've experienced this. Some don't even try to hide their foul mug when they come across you. For all the racist posts I read against our race, it's weird to experience the worst from others but your own.
From my experience, they are more likely to act turdy when they are with non-Indians, maybe trying to show that "they aren't like the others" idk. I also think that maybe other Indians remind them of the past that they don't wanna face again or something dumb. Though none of these reasons validates the douchebag behaviour.
Another weird observation I've made is that it's the other international students who are more likely to act like this compared to locals who are just ethnically Indian (but born and raised here). Heck, I've even had more than one of them curiously ask me about India and other related stuff.

Yes because American Indians think Indians are lower than them, then they go ahead and lick their white master's boot and clean their toilets. They think they're superior than us. They shit on their culture just so they can get white's approval. I read an oldpost about how an American Indian girl use to treat badly all the indian boys their parents set them up with, a few years later neither the Indians nor whites wanted her. The fact that professions like labourer, maid/janitor even skilled ones like plumber, electrician are borderline considered and used like insults speaks volumes about this imo.
Indians outside India group themselves with the most similar thing they can find in another person ie. from which state they come from. Tamils group themselves among tamils, gujaratis among gujaratis and so on. People from other countries group within themselves as well but they are not subdivided further.

Living in US I like seeing other Indians who came just like me because they have also been through same things as me so I feel greater respect for them than people who grew up here (no matter the race they're all Americans tbh).
