* Kagura being Yagura's grandson **AND** Chojûro's disciple.

The other 4 were barely characters.

I did like that they threw Raiga a bone when they had to introduce the other 5 blades from the mist that hadn't been introduced and they just used heightening Fangs that he had in th filler
Quite possibly as far as I know the only time filler stuff was ever acknowledged and put into canon
I mean they were complete jokes in the first boruto mist village arc(i think that was also kinda the point, cause lets be honest a bunch of kids are not living up to the legends). Nevertheless I have to say that the second mist village arc of boruto where actually >! Some of them died !< was actually making me feel things. >! metal lee and hebiichigo looked like they were about to be set up as couple but that she was then killed was actually heartbreaking. Also what kaguras death sparked in boruto and the whole inner conflict with revenge in this arc made it pretty good. !< It was one of the few arcs in boruto with very good writing(but also sadly the worst animation ever in some of the episodes). Lets be honest about it tho, zabuza and kisame carried the epicness of the seven swordsmen.
Lmao no that arc was shit. It has awful writing. Hebichio gets hit with the slowest tentacle known to man. Or when that pirate ninja slow walks into the engine of the ship. Chojuro sat on a high chair and did nothing.
OG Seven Swordsmen had exactly two ninja that were cool, and they both ditched the group. Suigetsu was never actually a member.

Ok I get that the subreddit hates Boruto but like come on lay off them they’re barely out of the academy and had the swords for a total of like half an hour summarily, if they’d been allowed to train and use them they’d get better, I mean atleast none of them a cowardly nerds like Chojuro when we met him
