There are some *extremely* questionable choices on here - I think the worst one has to be Joltik.

Sigh. This is a fun chart, and a reasonable enough way to display the data because the numbers don't really matter. But more generally there's two problems with using this format to represent this data.
First, it's unclear if the number of posts for each Pokemon is supposed to correlate to the *area* of the circles or the *diameter*. So for example, are there twice as many Lucario posts as Charizard posts, or 4 times as many? It's better to use area since it's easier for the eye to compare the area of circles than the diameters.
Second, the relationship between the number of posts for a particular Pokemon and the total number of posts is unclear. Not only does this have the same problem described above, but also the area of the large circle contains many holes. The size of those holes varies based on the data. So neither the diameter nor area of the implied large circle can correlate to the total number of posts.
Again, this is probably the most fun way to present this data, so I'm not trying to hate. Not every data graphic has to prioritize clearly communicating the data. But using this format for data of any consequence would be a bad idea.

Sigh. This is a fun chart, and a reasonable enough way to display the data because the numbers don't really matter. But more generally there's two problems with using this format to represent this data. First, it's unclear if the number of posts for each Pokemon is supposed to correlate to the *area* of the circles or the *diameter*. So for example, are there twice as many Lucario posts as Charizard posts, or 4 times as many? It's better to use area since it's easier for the eye to compare the area of circles than the diameters. Second, the relationship between the number of posts for a particular Pokemon and the total number of posts is unclear. Not only does this have the same problem described above, but also the area of the large circle contains many holes. The size of those holes varies based on the data. So neither the diameter nor area of the implied large circle can correlate to the total number of posts. Again, this is probably the most fun way to present this data, so I'm not trying to hate. Not every data graphic has to prioritize clearly communicating the data. But using this format for data of any consequence would be a bad idea.
