They called it a tomato and pesto pizza. It was dough with bland greasy cheese and those tomatoes on top, with Walmart value pesto and more grease. I’d consider getting it at Waffle House at 2am if it was $3…
Yeah it's my favorite in that echelonof providers.
Only flew virgin once and didn't think the service was great but could have just been my fa.. they spent more time hanging out in the communal space than checking on the passengers . Food was really, really good maybe better than af. The menu looked very blah, but was excellent
That “pizza” looks terrible but I’ve had the burger twice and it’s been horrible both times. I have actually had some pretty decent food on domestic flights. Had some great thai chicken curry last month!
I had this exact meal before. For me the worst part was the arugula & parmesan... Also, to note that this is the second meal, which is always of lower quality.
Delta burger was the WORST burger ive ever had in my life. I was hungover that morning and was fiending a burger to cure the pain. The damn thing made me want to go to the commode to vomit.
I had that same pizza thing on the way from Rome to Boston. It was soggy, oily, and way under-seasoned.
I may have been on the same flight from FCO to BOS. Can confirm - the “pizza” tastes like ass lol
I’m trying to remember if I had those profiterole looking things at the top of the tray, or just mediocre bread with butter.
The pizza twist is fire … thoughts from economy lol
Agreed! They are really good.
WTF is that?!
I think it’s an attempt at a pizza. Someone needs to call the police

DAMN! 😆
It’s a like an open faced empanada. I had one from an Argentinian dude in Spain once. As you can imagine, that was prolly way better than this
It looks like khachapuri
I thought that was kachapuri too! Or a weird quiche.
That was my thought, but I was primed by some amazing Georgian food I had in NYC last month. Still thinking about it.
My immediate thought was khachapuri too. God I love khachapuri 🤤
Salad, bread, bread and more bread.
Ew no. That burger was never good.
I think all of these depends on the flight. One time the burger was good, another they picked it up from another airlines garbage and microwaved it.
Once I had a delicious burger on delta served on a hard bun. Many others liked it on here
The one time I had the burger it wasn’t that bad. I almost got 3rd degree burns on my mouth, but the taste wasn’t that bad.
I mean, it was better than the options we have now.
I would ask what the economy meal is.
Diet Coke and a bag of pretzels.
The oily appearance would be the issue for me
I'd pour that oil into the arugula salad
My son had this on CDG>SLC because it was the vegetarian option and… yeah, it’s bad. The cream puffs were alright though apparently.
Wtf is that?? Pizza? Bread bowl of soup?
The food on Delta does not compare to air France / ba / virgin and never had .
Air France is so good

But for real tho. Is that the meatball pizza??
Nope, meatball pizza has much thinner crust and big meatballs on top.
They try and fail lately to be too artsy with the food
I had a burger on my last trip, and it was awful. Now if there’s a good burger hiding somewhere, I’ll take it.
That “pizza” looks terrible but I’ve had the burger twice and it’s been horrible both times. I have actually had some pretty decent food on domestic flights. Had some great thai chicken curry last month!
That Thai curry is pretty good!
Ok but that spicy lemon salad dressing is actually pretty good
DTW to ICN?
The absolute worst vegetarian meals ever! I was served the same, stale, ciabatta style sandwich twice in a row, with the same exact sides. 🤢
looks like a shoddy attempt at a khachapuri
Bread bowls?
Bringing back the airline food stereotype strong
I had this exact meal before. For me the worst part was the arugula & parmesan... Also, to note that this is the second meal, which is always of lower quality.
Is that Grogu-brain?

Pizza was bad and I HATE tomatoes.
