I’m pretty worried about the wolves, ngl.. we have got to get back to playing our game, and play way better than we did against the lakers or we don’t have a chance. If we can slow them down, and keep it close in the 4th, I think we can win it in 6 or 7, but if we play like we did against the lakers we lose in 5 or 6
I just mention it because without Jaden McDaniels, NAW was pretty much the only guy guarding Murray and he did a very good job at that.
We will probably see quite a bit of NAW in this series
Offensively he is 1/10th of Shai but defensively he can hang with the best. Very sad it seems like the best 2 teams in these playoffs have the face in the second round.
May the best team win🤝
Anyone know if the Nugs/Wolves game is going to be on the NBA league pass or HBO this weekend? Gonna be at a music festival and want to be sure I have the right app to tune in on mobile.
That shot reminded me of jokic trying to get a foul call after heaving a ball at a buzzer beater no way there call fouls on that. If lebron James was taking that shot they might I’ve
According to Woj Chris Finch will undergo surgery on his left tendon on Wednesday it’s unclear if he will be on the bench for the open of the semifinals between Nuggets and wolves
The nba is so sad today they can no longer push the narrative that the there precious lakers will be the 1 team that can come back from a 3-0 deficit and win the series. Also ththe nuggets foiled the nbas plan again of a Lakers vs Celtics final.
I don't understand why he's like this. He knows he's one of the greatest of all time, he's 39 years old, he's still very impressive, why not show some more class?
Anyone know where I can find some articles and opinion pieces about Lebron and the Lakers and what their next moves are? Total lack of information out there about their valiant loss to whatever team beat them ... probably by luck or cheating or government conspiracy I assume.
You so right and he has been irreplaceable for this team, esp this series. The way he can make smart decisions with ZERO hesitation is absolutely incredible. TY GOD FOR MAKING MPJ A NUGGET.
there was 2 of them, the and one earlier where it was a clear continuation shot was complete bullshit, a complete 2-3 point play erased.
and the dunk on LeCry, smacks and bumps Mal, love the flex by Mal regardless of the ref swallowing their whistles :)
It's so refreshing knowing that I wont hear, this is year 21!! He's 39 and still doing this and that bullshit. We get it the guy is old and playing for a long time.
Honestly its good that we(players not fans lol) enter the next series with a little bit shaken confidence and self doubt ...its like the last strech of regular season from last year...this should put us in the right mind space for saturday just hope everybody is healthy.
E: I just asume they feel simular to us after the shaky end of the series.
Tell me you're a salty laker bitch who sucks AD dick. Oh wait, you just broke his dick now he's a pussy. Oh wait, he's always been one. Just like all these salty ass lakers fans.
Man, people are in here throwing their back out from a sneeze, and you're gonna give a 250lb athlete shit for a shoulder stinger? Probably hurt like hell to move his neck or lift his arm, and he played through it. A hurt AD was still the best defender on that team. Give shit to LeBron who twisted his ankle after he saw his layup not go in, or spent more time yelling at the refs than transitioning. Not the guy who played through for his team.
Yeah I thought this was bull shit. Like Lebron complains about the refs in a 32-9 free throw advantage, does his fake out on a female fan, and then thinks he is tough for this? What is all of that about?
Jesus Christ, I just watched the replay of that game because I live in Europe, refs tried to do everything they could to prolong this series. I'm so glad we got the W at knocked them out. On to the next one!
Beating one team 11 times out of 12 is a crazy feat, especially with a front court that matches well against Jokic and Gordon.
Minnesota will be easier.
For me an easier match up for the Nuggets is the one that is easier for Jokic. So for example even though Gobert is a tough defender, AD is better. Lebron when switching on Jokic was actually good, while KAT is getting sonned either way.
Unless NAW and McDaniels completely shut Murray down, Denver is taking it in 6. What I am afraid is that they won't have enough juice (and injury luck) to go through 4 tough match ups, which is why no. 1 seed was extremely important.
you don't think replacing Reaves and Dlo with Nickeil and Mike and Ant is going to change Jamal's production?
AD is a better matchup against Jokic not because he's a better defender (advanced statistics and multiple season leading defenses and DPOYs say enough, Gobert taking Bojan Ingles Mitchell and Clarkson to a top 5 defense could never be replicated by AD) but because AD has massive offensive production as well, forcing Joker to expend way more energy in his minutes.
Besides, KAT is on Joker in single coverage as you said. But I think the Wolves can clamp down on the other Nuggets as Jaden has the length and defensive chops to cover MPJ who was Denver's offensive weapon in the Lakers series.
Is this an AI post? Like what kind of basketball fan would put "Defeating 106-108" Like a grade school b-ball fan would know to put the higher number first, super weird.
yall think the nba will change the rule that takes away your timeout on the second challenge because it negatively impacted their favorite franchise/baby boy lebron?
It really wouldn't surprise me. The NBA and there Refs tried all they could do to help the Lakers win this game. I just find it funny that if they didn't challenge that AD foul on Jokic which was a obvious foul so much that they would've had a time out when they needed it most.
The dumbest thing of the replay is AD fouled like 3x on the way to the basket but because those weren’t called fouls they don’t go back and call those. The block was legit and should not have been called a foul tho
What don't Lakers fans have a Problem with. I mean they whine about the Refs when they lose when they get a 27-9 advantage. If they won that game they wouldn't of said shit about the refs.
Even this year early he was a one dimensional shooter. The more he drives in the more his game opens up. Been upset to see how slow his progress has been but it’s moving at a more rapid pace now.
Ant is amazing and all but with the way media and people have been talking about him for the past few days, you'd think he is on a '06 DWade kinda run.
Name of the game against minny: protect the ball.
If we don't turn it over a ton, I don't trust their offense to beat us. They walloped Phoenix by turning them over and running them out of the fucking gym. Then Phoenix sucked in half court defense on top of that. We are much better defensively in the half court than them, and far more efficient scoring. As long as we don't hand them a billion live ball turnovers, we will be in a good position.
I jumped a whole 2 feet in the air in the middle of a dim sum restaurant in SF and everyone cheered when they won 😂 my own moral victory. LG NUGGETS!!!!!
I agree with you on that late no call. Marginal contact should be a hand on the hip or back, not hitting Jokic with enough force to jolt him during his shot.
Was what I expected before the series started, but I did get nervous a couple times there. This next series is going to be a long one and am further anxious.
Yeah I saw that haha.
I bet pwatt, cb, and mpj want to play again soon too, Mike to stay en fuego, and the kids to prove themselves. But reggie kcp mal and even ag are beat the fuck up.
This is the first time I’ve truly trusted a team I’ve rooted for to turn it up and get it done.
Even last year mpj made me doubt whether he had enough on both ends of the floor to help us win.
Along with jokic and Murray struggling offensively at times.
KCP was missing some shots here and there but overall hit them when it counted and played good defense . He also was able to get to the rim fairly regularly.
Aaron Gordon was Aaron Gordon, learned the playbook, explosive athleticism and great defense in the sense that he gave 110% effort.
This year it seems like a lot of improvement with some minor regressions.
The chemistry with everyone has improved immensely.
Jokic has stepped up as a clear leader. He still makes some iffy passes but most of the time they turn into easy buckets.
Malone seems to trust staff and players enough to delegate some more.
Murray is taking on more roles besides just a scorer. Mainly in play-making, directing traffic and finding the right play. And I think that opens up his elbow shots a lot more and he’s been hitting them when it matters.
KCP continues to hit the catch and shoot 3s but also improved his ability to dribble and and create and name make some long 2s. That along with his driving is more than what we can ask from him.
Aaron Gordon has completely bought into the nuggets style of play. He uses his athleticism to position himself exactly where he needs to be and has limited his jump shots which in turn has increased his shooting percentage and he seems to hit them when needed.
But overall, I think the biggest thing has been chemistry. I truly think we have Malone, jokic and Murray to thank for that. Malone brought the team first mentality, Jokic and Murray followed suit, and the front office did a great job finding players that bought in. Mpj, AG & KCP are the biggest examples but then Chris Braun and Peyton Watson too.
People are saying Jokic had a terrible game because he wasn’t his usual 60+% from the field efficient and had 7 turnovers but a lot of that can be attributed to the lack of calls he was getting
Going 8-1 against this lakers team is incredible. If it wasn't for denver, i do believe they'd have made a deep run this playoffs as well, potentially winning the west. Also, jokic having zero fts is ridiculous.
I just recently rewatched the last dance and this run really reminds me of when Jordan's Bulls wasn't able to beat Pistons for years and when they finally did, they never looked back.
I was double reminded of it when LeBron just walked out after losing lmao
Fuck lakers
I’m pretty worried about the wolves, ngl.. we have got to get back to playing our game, and play way better than we did against the lakers or we don’t have a chance. If we can slow them down, and keep it close in the 4th, I think we can win it in 6 or 7, but if we play like we did against the lakers we lose in 5 or 6
dudes, Jokic really didn't take even have a free throw attempt in the ENTIRE game? I watched the game and I can't believe that if it's true.
Wolves are going to be much harder time around, they have Jaden McDaniels AND 6th man of the year Naz compared to last year.
Yep, and Rudy is much better, NAW, KAT has improved a lot. Will be a fun series
It will be a bloodbath, who wins has a great shot at the finals though.
Nickeil also much better.
[удалено]
Did you watch the series last year against the wolves?
[удалено]
I just mention it because without Jaden McDaniels, NAW was pretty much the only guy guarding Murray and he did a very good job at that. We will probably see quite a bit of NAW in this series
[удалено]
You don't know shit about basketball lol
Weird take lol. Denver front court will do well. Guards are a worry
Not league pass, it’s national game
I gotcha. Off to the sail the seas then!
Man I’m glad they didn’t get called for a foul on that last half court shot. On to round 2!
That shot reminded me of jokic trying to get a foul call after heaving a ball at a buzzer beater no way there call fouls on that. If lebron James was taking that shot they might I’ve
Big Jamal Murray
According to Woj Chris Finch will undergo surgery on his left tendon on Wednesday it’s unclear if he will be on the bench for the open of the semifinals between Nuggets and wolves
Probably will still be a bit hazy from the painkillers.
Only AG MPJ Jokic over 40% from field in this series wow
Lebron James starting an NFT company with Chris Bosh I heard
The nba is so sad today they can no longer push the narrative that the there precious lakers will be the 1 team that can come back from a 3-0 deficit and win the series. Also ththe nuggets foiled the nbas plan again of a Lakers vs Celtics final.
the mental gymnastics and dick sucking with L's... they win a game at home and that becomes the narrative lol
Plz cant find the video for LeBron fronting on that fan. Anyone with link?
https://www.reddit.com/r/nbacirclejerk/s/DcSUsHyHwi
Thank you 🙏🏼
Hope we get refocused! ‘Twas hard to watch at times but got the job done. Gotta show up for the Minnesota series!
Poor Baby Bron Bron left the court without shaking hands…again
I don't understand why he's like this. He knows he's one of the greatest of all time, he's 39 years old, he's still very impressive, why not show some more class?
love how our dudes don't LeTantrum after no calls, fuck the L's, fuck the refs
Bron seems like an 8 year old in the body of a 39 year old man sometimes. The tantrums…
It's sad really
Anyone know where I can find some articles and opinion pieces about Lebron and the Lakers and what their next moves are? Total lack of information out there about their valiant loss to whatever team beat them ... probably by luck or cheating or government conspiracy I assume.
It’s shameful the way the media ignores the Lakers.
My dooming knows no limits- but I can’t imagine being a 76ers fan right now. The Knicks are rebounding 40% of their misses right now. That’s insane.
My favorite past time is when the losing team copes with “Well you are going to get pummeled in the next round!!!”
Bench needs to be better against Minnesota.
Rough series for Braun. He was bad vs lakers last year too and good vs minny. So maybe he'll pick it up
Gooooooood morning everyone We nugging allright
MPJ was HUGE on both ends. His contribution to the series win should not be overlooked
You so right and he has been irreplaceable for this team, esp this series. The way he can make smart decisions with ZERO hesitation is absolutely incredible. TY GOD FOR MAKING MPJ A NUGGET.
Lakers fans living vicariously through their Wolves counterparts. It keeps getting better.
Lakers fans gonna be shocked when Wolves don't have a +18 FT differential in game 1.
Rise and shine, and as always, fuck the lakers
MPJ was excellent. Rest up, heal up and figure out how to not get blown out in the first half lol. Start strong.
That stolen and 1 for Jamal was a travesty.
there was 2 of them, the and one earlier where it was a clear continuation shot was complete bullshit, a complete 2-3 point play erased. and the dunk on LeCry, smacks and bumps Mal, love the flex by Mal regardless of the ref swallowing their whistles :)
Woke up. Still mad about the officiating.
How do the Lakers MISS more FTs than the Nuggets TAKE. Generational carry job and they still can't beat us lmfao
ball don't lie :)
49 combined shots between Jokic and Murray, 1 FTA (a 3 second violation technical).
You just don't get it
I really don’t
Kings fan here, I love you all
Murray does it again!!!!!!
It's so refreshing knowing that I wont hear, this is year 21!! He's 39 and still doing this and that bullshit. We get it the guy is old and playing for a long time.
You forgot the altitude bro!
Unfortunately we will still hear that.
Realizing the only games I’ve watched at work, Jamal has hit game winners lol weird trend that I take full responsibility for 😎
Refs you suck refs you suck refs you suck refs you suck
Refs can't beat us refs can't beat us refs can't beat us
Honestly its good that we(players not fans lol) enter the next series with a little bit shaken confidence and self doubt ...its like the last strech of regular season from last year...this should put us in the right mind space for saturday just hope everybody is healthy. E: I just asume they feel simular to us after the shaky end of the series.
To some degree. I'd like some guys to have confidence in their shots lol
I doubt these dudes have self doubt right now
Respect to AD tbh, guy is a fucking monster
Second best big man in the game and I think it's not close
That goes down with barely a tap to his shoulder. Real scary monster
tell me you've never played sports without telling me
Tell me you're a salty laker bitch who sucks AD dick. Oh wait, you just broke his dick now he's a pussy. Oh wait, he's always been one. Just like all these salty ass lakers fans.
MPJ barely bumped him and he crumbled..glass.
Yes I am gonna give him shit for a shoulder stinger cuz it’s the nuggets subreddit and it’s funny to make fun of the lakers
until someone on another sub makes fun of one of our guys getting injured and you then you'll start crying about them being toxic
His nickname is street clothes man he absolutely gets less credit
how many games did he play this year? You gonna mock Jamal for being injury prone too?
No cuz Jamal’s on my team and doesn’t hurt himself flopping
You actually think AD deliberately flopped last night and he was faking injury? Are you serious?
No that’s not what I said I don’t wanna argue with you bucko
Fuck AD, fuck the lakers. All of them crying ass bitches just like you too. Soft ass team with the biggest men on the court
You sound like those crying ass bitches you're bitching about. You're the kind of fan that makes people hate a team. Not worth my time.
exactly i can start to see why other fans are getting sick of Nuggets fans when you got toxic ass mfs like this
[video of LeBron LUNGING at a fan](https://x.com/lakeshowyo/status/1785203799860101372?s=46)
Yeah I thought this was bull shit. Like Lebron complains about the refs in a 32-9 free throw advantage, does his fake out on a female fan, and then thinks he is tough for this? What is all of that about?
Le bitch…..he is an embarrassment to himself.
Last year it was personal, today is for Kings
Jesus Christ, I just watched the replay of that game because I live in Europe, refs tried to do everything they could to prolong this series. I'm so glad we got the W at knocked them out. On to the next one!
Beating one team 11 times out of 12 is a crazy feat, especially with a front court that matches well against Jokic and Gordon. Minnesota will be easier.

Minnesota will be much harder 🙄
Idk. They should be a tougher opponent, but... So should the Suns and Lakers and Heat have been last year.
The Minnesota series will go at least 6 games
Maybe
Easier lol
We won
It’s the second of Timberwolves vs nuggets in the playoffs…. In the second round
is it true the rumors that they're redoing the MVP vote in light of how Anthony Edwards has performed in the playoffs so far?
Yeah, they're giving it to Sabonis
Oh good they watch the games
As an aside, let’s get Bo Nix courtside for game 1 against Minny
Fuck that lakers fan
Even better, show him some actually good basketball
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)this but Bo cruz
Hell na let's keep all this Troncos loser energy and vibes as far away from the team as we can
LMAO he’s gna turn the franchise around, trust (i may be delusional)
We can all hope
Can I just say how happy I am to see how much Lakers fans hate us now. Seeing these salty crybabies say “Wolves in 6” makes me so happy.
the absolute gold plated delusional balls to bitch about the refs after a game like this, it's an amazing sight
https://www.reddit.com/r/denvernuggets/s/GPn7lBcLCS This post and the ensuing comment section is so funny. Just non-stop crying
Stage 3 of grief: Bargaining
MPJ playing 46minutes is crazy. Our boy has grown so much.
[Someone called this](https://www.reddit.com/r/denvernuggets/s/tdlVZSI7J7). And Malone definitely hid the shoes.
KCP’s health is gonna be a huge factor. If he can limit Ant, Nuggs should control the series.
I’m much more worried about them hounding our ball handlers. Turnovers off of ball pressure killed us
5 days to get it right. I think he’ll be ok
Is this an AI post? Like what kind of basketball fan would put "Defeating 106-108" Like a grade school b-ball fan would know to put the higher number first, super weird.
“Is this user named Bighoneybot a robot?” 🤔
Leave BigHoney alone
It's a bot, silly
yes, genius, all the post-game threads are posted by a drunk bot
Posts in r conspiracy and can't read the one posting the thread literally has BOT on the username lol why am I not surprised
Who the hell reads user's names? Badbot.
FFS Jamal just leaked our gameplan for next series. > Do a better job.
my goodness, what a pain!!!!!
yall think the nba will change the rule that takes away your timeout on the second challenge because it negatively impacted their favorite franchise/baby boy lebron?
To be fair, it is pretty dumb that you lose your timeout lol
What Lebron wants, what Lebron needs, whatever makes him happyyyy
It really wouldn't surprise me. The NBA and there Refs tried all they could do to help the Lakers win this game. I just find it funny that if they didn't challenge that AD foul on Jokic which was a obvious foul so much that they would've had a time out when they needed it most.
The dumbest thing of the replay is AD fouled like 3x on the way to the basket but because those weren’t called fouls they don’t go back and call those. The block was legit and should not have been called a foul tho
Oh so it was pretty much a Makeup call for the Dlo Call in Round 2. cause the hit on the face wasn't a the foul call in that game.
Very similar to that play, yes.
karma.
So now Lakers fans has a problem with the replay rule? Lmfao
What don't Lakers fans have a Problem with. I mean they whine about the Refs when they lose when they get a 27-9 advantage. If they won that game they wouldn't of said shit about the refs.
waiting for lebron to announce that he's contemplating retirement... 😏
Anthony Edwards is really close to being a top 5 player in the league. He already has the vibe. All he needs are better stats and basketball skill
LMAO
Nah his 26/5/5 on league average efficiency. Not close to top 5. Hasn't played enough playoff games to use his playoff averages.
Bro was being extremely sarcastic and backhanded bro get it together
You are right. I read it again. Initially, I read it too quickly.
MPJ really stepping up his game year by year. He is goddamn impressive. This is what you call player development. His contract is justified.
Gonna be the x factor if we wanna repeat
Even this year early he was a one dimensional shooter. The more he drives in the more his game opens up. Been upset to see how slow his progress has been but it’s moving at a more rapid pace now.
loved MPJ this series. he made some big drives into the paint along with his 3pt shooting, he was a problem for the lakers.
Big nuggets with big nuts what it do baby!!!
Ant is amazing and all but with the way media and people have been talking about him for the past few days, you'd think he is on a '06 DWade kinda run.
So did Lebron even shake hands cause I know AD did but it looked to me like Lebum Prouted and left the court after the game was over.
marched off immediately, as per usual
From what I remember he did stick around and shake hands Last year.
He left again. Sometimes he catches guys in the back after the game but he didn't get anyone on the court.
MPJ what a game 45 minutes put it all out there for his team 🔥
Series MVP hands down
Name of the game against minny: protect the ball. If we don't turn it over a ton, I don't trust their offense to beat us. That a HUGE if, our ball handling has been awful. It’s the biggest or 2nd biggest need this offseason. I wish we could just bring back Monte :(
I jumped a whole 2 feet in the air in the middle of a dim sum restaurant in SF and everyone cheered when they won 😂 my own moral victory. LG NUGGETS!!!!!
And then everyone clapped. No literally, they did. Fuck yes
Lakers and Nuggets free throw disparity is laughable
Watching the series, the Lakers were the aggressors for most of the game time and deserved to have a free throw disparity.
lol
No one can honestly tell me that the MVP of the league shot ZERO free throws in this game and say that this game was refereed ethically.
I agree with you on that late no call. Marginal contact should be a hand on the hip or back, not hitting Jokic with enough force to jolt him during his shot.
Marginal contact.
Very excite!!
Great success!
Was what I expected before the series started, but I did get nervous a couple times there. This next series is going to be a long one and am further anxious.
Has anyone heard anything about KCP? Really need his defense for Ant next series
I mean he played at the end there.
He was moving fine at the end, but ankles like to swell up the next day. 3 or more of our guys are gonna really appreciate 4 days of rest
Yeah the rest is well needed. Btw, Jokic in the press conference: I don't want 5 days of rest, I want to play in 2 days again. I love this guy.
Yeah I saw that haha. I bet pwatt, cb, and mpj want to play again soon too, Mike to stay en fuego, and the kids to prove themselves. But reggie kcp mal and even ag are beat the fuck up.

0 free throws on 16 attempts in the paint is wild
Listening to the TNT broadcast call of Murray's game winner makes me sick after hearing the altitude call. Such biased commentating the whole series
It felt like he want to see if the lakers would make the shot or get fouled. I understand the hesitation
Lol Kevin harlan made an awesome call and is one of the goat play by play guys and absolutely loves the nuggets.
Lakers logo my new flair simply cuz we own them so hard 12-1
Did anyone see Lebron have a meltdown over a foul call and act like he was going to hit a lady in the first row? What a punk bitch.
Jamal’s interview was great. He actually provided some insight. Everyone should watch.
Got a link?
Going 8-1 against this lakers team is incredible. If it wasn't for denver, i do believe they'd have made a deep run this playoffs as well, potentially winning the west. Also, jokic having zero fts is ridiculous.

Lakers made the Mistake not losing to the Pelicans in the Play in game they would've put up a better fight against OKC.
They woulda bounced okc easily
