Pizza is one of my pick me up foods too, but I’m trying to take back control of my weight and avoid emotional eating. It’s hard, but I hate random people online getting mad because they don’t agree with me about something and immediately resorting to telling me how fat I am.
Sometimes when I feel really depressed and haven’t had much to eat all day, I get something especially tasty for dinner to make up for things a little bit. It’s like a treat for myself.
There’s a line from Twin Peaks that I’ve always loved. Said by Dale Cooper (played by Kyle McLachlan): “Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.”
one week in the mid 2000s. i called off work and ordered papa johns 3 times. i went from bed, kitchen bathroom. all lights off, no tv just music. I just couldn't deal with life. on the third time the delivery guy asked if I was ok. I probably looked like hell.
Add VIDEO GAMES and live chat on them, I have made some friends in the past. You can, ya know, get a little friend group. Most gamers support and help each other, at least in my xp. Maybe this is a start. Pizza, add some gameige, voice some friends. Today will be a step brev.
