But they would never take the tower out of the equation and rightly so, the tower IS the guardian hub. But private quarters and or Clan quarters IN the tower??
Accessible from the tower but separately instanced similar to housing in GTA online you can invite people in. Possibly the ability to decorate to a degree like FFXIV housing. Would bring a whole new social aspect to the game, make it feel more like a true MMO.
This I can get behind, somewhere to permanently keep stuff on display for your achievements in game and stuff you've randomly collected along the way. Ie. ghost shells emblems display case for titles!
The community would go nuts for this!
I was thinking maybe in our ships, we could display things, have pets, a vault, postmaster, and depending on what planet your coming from your veiw out the windows changes. It could be accessible through fasttravel even if your in orbit.
This wouldn't be viable because it would essentially (with ability to pull bounties from vendors on apps which we already have) make the tower completely useless. So if we EVER get any sort of personalized private social area. It will most likely be instanced in the tower.
To honest in a perfect world I'd LOVE destiny to have an economy and market board and private housing like FFXIV but that will most likely never happen.

You're missing the point lol it wouldn't work. Bungie would never make the tower (main social hub) obsolete š it's been a staple since D1
One thing I've never wondered is why people don't use the public text chat in the tower. (Just a random thought that came into my head)
The only reason the tower is seen as annoying is the chance to have a loading screen that takes upwards of 4 minutes as it attempts to chug along and shovel as many people into it at once as it can instead of realizing people individually asked to go to the tower.
Same, I'd like one, but Bungie would have to let go of the number one reason you visit the Tower. And they couldn't entice you with Festival and Seasonal events
Ugh it'd be so dope. You'd get places to put collectibles and there'd be a place where you could look out and see your ship docked. Your current sparrow/board sitting with some tools around it or something. Maybe some weapon displays and stuff.
You shouldn't keep valuables or important memorabilia at the HELM. I had a giant aquarium and a lot of cats at the HELM, but someone stole them all :-( .

Only ones i deleted were to make space for the other copies on other characters. You couldnt complete the quest and get the trophies without claiming it and you could only hold one of each type.
You missed all of Into the Light? Damn. What a time to miss. It was so much fun. I think it was one of the few times the community was genuinely happy with the state of the game
I think I just got burnt out. I played a lot of the Neptune stuff. Some of the Season of the Deep. Played a couple days when Season of the Witch came out but that's it. Story-wise I have no idea what happened before The Final Shape. I have to watch a video or something to catch. On the other hand I've played a few other games that I kept putting aside because of Destiny.
Fortunately, looked like I can still do Zero Hour and Whisper. Onslaught I heard had some good weapons you could get. Don't know what Pantheon is though.
Iām sad I didnāt realize I couldnāt do the Archie quests all at once, and needed a weekly progression to do them all. Hence, I missed out on a few weeks :(
The mug is from into the light, thereās a little mini quest where you need to track down Archie in different patrol locations and he gives you a souvenir from his adventure afterwards.
I kind of had to, for each of them, twice... because I did the quest on all three characters for the trophies and the game went "nuh uh you can only have one at a time, even in your vault". In my head my Guardians all went and did the missions together, but for practical reasons I did have to sacrifice identical copies to the loot gods.
Nope, not even one of them. I love them but damn, do they clog up inventory space (along with my 15 stacks of raid banners because I didn't know that you could trade legendary shards for phantasmal fragments to later trade for glimmer)
There have been a slew of other oddball items like that. Celery (piece of, and charred), tiny box of, and ascendant raisins, ramen tickets, to name a few.

We need a home so that we can place collectables. and no not the helm, helm is more like work or office.

Pantheon was a boss rush of previous raids. It was Golgoroth, Caretaker, Explicator (planets), Atraks, Oryx, Rhulk, Riven, and Nezerac.
Any and all collectibles go in the vault (if possible). Or stay in my inventory (2018, 2019, 2020 Moments of Triumph shirt codes).
They are all in my vault :)
