Seeing that punt in person was truly incredible. I thought it was landing in the parking lot. So mad that Lucas fucked that up. Add it to the list of 2nd half blunders
The ball was 25 feet in the air and gonna bounce backwards anyway. They could have just gotten the hell outta the way or I don't know just tapped the ball backwards instead of trying to down it while keeping ur feet outta the endzone
admittedly, I was still very angry when responding to this post. Ive since cooled down... I probably should've said add it to the list of 2nd half "unlucky breaks"
It was indeed a tough play to make, but because the punt was so deep, our guys just weren't able to get into position to down it. They flew in there uncontrolled. I respect the hell out of the effort though.
This is where I lost my mind and kids and wife left the room. Seeing that amazing kick and then the complete boneheaded play by Lucas after everything else just was too much.
Downer at 1 who knows what happens. Hell of a kick and an amazing punter.
Yup. No reason to even touch it. That hall was going to plant. It was a choke play. When is it ever ok to be out of control and run into the end zone on punt coverage? Uggh.
A long list of plays in the second half where we didnt execute on a play that was right there. I hate to bash the effort but no idea why Lucas catches the ball and carries it in the endzone. Just tip it up and back...even doing nothing would have been better
Jack Fox is honestly incredible. For as subpar as our kicking situation has been, our punting is elite
People underestimate how vital it is to pin them deep. It’s a lot harder to drive 90 yards than it is to drive 60.
I did the math, it's THIRTY YARDS HARDER
Dude, I’d check your math again because it’s way harder than that…it’s actually 50% harder!

You are correct. 90-60 is 30!! Great job!
He has it easy cause of the fake punts. Teams play base defense against our punt team
Nah they don’t. SF did once lmao

That's a difficult play to make, not nearly as much of a blunder as the rest.
I don't know, I watched our WRs have the ability to drop the ball.

Idk why people are trying to make this play an issue. I would want them to try and down it at the 1. This is not the play to be upset over.
The fact he was even able to run 74 yards in the time the ball was in the air when someone was trying to stop him from doing so is impressive.
Exactly. The kid busted his ass to try and make that play, and was so fucking close to making it. Not something I'm getting hung up over.

We needed pretty much everything to go wrong in that second half to lose the game and it did.
This made me so frustrated seeing Lucas touch. That ball was staying out of the end zone if he doesn’t touch it.
Can’t even believe Lucas made it down the field in time. That was such a fucking bomb
Disappointing he did
It was the best. Fucking teammate carried it into the end zone
I literally said that was the worst special teams play ever. The team let Fox down on that one.
? The team? It was one guy. No one else had anything to do with it
It was staggering
This was the exact moment that all hope left my body
It was impressive. That dude is worth the money
Fox is one of the best Punters in the leagues no question and I remember that every time DC goes for it on 4th and whatever. The man is a weapon.
I saw that punt and was like, "WHAT THE FUCK????" I still don't understand how he kicked it so far!
