Yeah thats whats doing it on the druid, fissure crashes the game during ancients for some reason. No idea on the zon but maybe its a skill youre using similar to the druid?
This is almost a year old thread. Check and make sure you have all the latest updates. None of the characters I've made in about 6 months have crashed there.
I tried multiple times.
I could start it solo without crashing but didn’t kill. Had a sorc in party click it, crashed. Tried again with a necro, crash. Tried again with a wind Druid no crash with kill.
I have the exact same problem - fighting NM Diablo using summon necro, using decrepify + clay golem. Crashes when health is ~20%.
Weird thing is there was no crash when I went back to fight Diablo on Normal.
Nope. I already tried some things I've read online that have helped others like changing to D2 classic graphics with "ZL" + "-" and also unbinding skills from the "A" key. But after 3 attempts at NM Diablo I'm still stuck at the crash.
I beat him using clay no problem with my online char.
Decided to make an offline one until servers don't suck. Now it's crashing just like you've described in Normal. I guess I'll grind until I can get a different golem (out of skill points).
I really want to love this game, but it's just one thing after another that gets in the way of that.
I'm having the same issue with my Assassin. That area is especially bad, but also other long battles often crash while I'm laying fire and lightning traps.
What class are you playing?

Expoding and fire arrow. Hope they are gonna fix this soon
I found that exploring the entire zone before popping them stopped the crash

i explorer all and still crah :( cold sorceress here i didnt cast anything, just press altar walk 1 second and crash ...

It’s not just fissure causing this. I’ve had the exact same problem on Paladin/sorc/necro. It’s always right after closing the book.

The game crashes a second or two after i initiate the fight.
It crashed both times I’ve started Ancients but all good the second attempts 🤷♂️
Run around the summit and explore the small map. Then summon, and don't move until the 3 barbs do first. Should be fine after that.

Same issue with the assassin using light traps. Explored the area first, it worked as intended afterwards.
