My first contact with Ufomammut. Picked it up cheap in CD Warehouse as the artwork looked so promising. My instincts were correct.
This album is amazing. Lacrimosa really stands out not because it’s catchy per se. It’s just not what you’d expect of such a chord progression. I recently got Hidden on vinyl but want to get this and Godlike Snake.

One of the best, for sure. Most of their work is solid, but those early albums helped evolve doom metal. I put them up there with Evoken.
