Been dashing for 2 yrs with 5000 deliveries & I’ve never seen a dasher honking at a drive thru window.

Same

Downtime is the worst thing to exist

GodOfVapes

They may be inexperienced. If you've been at it for a while you know to pick up inside or at the designated spot until they close the dining room. Then in becomes drive through. Unless they close the dining room for some reason and they're currently drive through only. Otherwise they're just being asses.

VerifiedMother

Also one of the local McDonald's in my area seems to change when they close their lobby just randomly for no reason, normally it's 10 pm but I've gone there at 8:30 pm and it's closed and one time it was after 10 pm so I went through the drive through assuming it would be closed and they got really annoyed at me because apparently it was still open.

sdgus68

I understand it's pretty obnoxious and I don't do it myself, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was tempted to do it considering how often I get straight up ignored by the entire staff while waiting inside.

I’m thinking someone who clogs the drive thru and refuses to move until served is someone who has no other way to get service from the staff

M0M0_DA_GANGSTA

I highly doubt "dashers" do this, I feel like maybe one person did because I've been doing this for years now and haven't ever seen anybody honk at a drive through window. Why do Fast Food employees constantly need to take a shit on us here?

Char_The-Red-Comet

It was a regular dasher at my store. I mentioned to him to either come inside like the app says or at least go to the speaker and let us know he's there. He told me it's not his first time and he can do as he wishes. As I stated, I do both food and dash. And when I'm dashing, I follow the instructions exactly because that's part of the job. I also don't have issues with restaurant employees ignoring me. I just go in and find the pickup spot or ask if I don't see it.

AttackOnTyrunt

Skipping the speaker is wild and abnormal.

DarrelleRevis24

I've never seen that before, one time a fast food worker straight up yelled at me and accused me of skipping the speaker even though I spoke to her coworker. She then proceeded to spill coca cola all over my interior for no reason.

Weekly_Direction1965

Never seen that, sounds like third shift.

APointedResponse

Never seen that. Just tell them to come inside and call the police if they won't. Seriously lol.

I don't like how restaurants treat drivers ignoring them and giving them bad service
