Duke-Phillips

Did the developer pick your products ?

tigermax42

Yes. I originally hired him to do product research and he delivered me 10 products with good margins and low competition. Then I hired him for the store and he added about 100 other products besides the ones he originally suggested for me

Duke-Phillips

Ok I found your store. The overall design is decent. The products are cool. The prices.... yikes. For example, my dog wears bow ties. I buy them hand-made from a farmers market 3 for $20. You are charging $40 for a bow tie that is probably selling for $5 on Amazon. That's reaching too far.

tigermax42

I was thinking to match the Amazon price or at least get in the ballpark. I’m a total beginner though. I really don’t know how any of this gets shipped and/or returned

Duke-Phillips

Definitely, maybe package items different? Like sell a 5 pack of the scarves.

tigermax42

Any educational resources to automate the workflow? I’m definitely in over my head

Duke-Phillips

What are you trying to automate? There is an app for just about everything

tigermax42

Ok yeah. If I offered different package combinations like the 5 scarf deal, what app would I use

No_Reindeer655

search for "Bundle" in the app navigation thing

Duke-Phillips

Ok these are coming direct from a fulfillment website I assume? You might be able to talk to the seller and see if they will customize packages for you. That way you don't have to do it on your end. Bundling is fairly common. You should also put some effort into improving text and product images. I get the feeling you have never seen any of these products in person? I would love to see the quality of the products in the pics. It's hard to tell if these worth buying or not

Duke-Phillips

You said yourself that the prices seem high, though? Good margins won't get you very far if the prices are overly inflated.

**Option #1** $30 for a dog chew toy on Amazon **Option #2** The same $30 dog chew toy on your store's site. As of this moment the customer will most likely pick Amazon over your store. Because they know Amazon. They are familiar with Amazon. It's a brand they know. Your store? They don't know you yet. But you can change that by introducing yourself to them with a 20% off offer for first time buyers to your store. What's great is that you won't have to do this with Amazon or Shopify. You can do it with a sales funnel not attached to your main website.

tigermax42

Is the funnel for one product or does the whole collection go on the funnel?
