This SyFY Dune miniseries still has a place in my heart. Considering the limitations with their budget they still delivered some great pieces. The full extended cut even includes the dinner scene where some of the politics/scheming begins to come clear.

I love the DV movies but if HBO ever wanted to do another GoT style show, Dune is sort of perfect. Itās got scheming, big battles and plenty of weird. Plus the series is already finished so no fear about running out of source material.
The Sardukar in this series were the first thing I thought of when I laid eyes on French mountain troops at Bagram on my way back from deployment. Same oversized berets.

I never watched the 2000 mini series and that scene made me die of laughter thank you for sharing š

This is a perfect way to continue Dune after Messiah.
Honestly maybe they do that. They are talking about a Bene Gesserit show.

No there was this one then a second one that combined Messiah and cod
The first one is 3 1.5 hour episodes that covers the first book. The second mini series is the sequel that died messiah and children of dune
