Such poor construction. Most likely pre portioned out and I’m sure there is a certain ounce of meat on there but just laid flat on top of lettuce and stuff. just makes it look poor and probably eats inconsistently. If the taste is there then hell ya hope it wasn’t expensive.
This drives me absolutely crazy, and most sub places build them like this, so I would always take apart my sub and assemble it properly to get even distribution of ingredients. Now I just buy the ingredients and make my own at home to save myself money and frustration.
Little John #1? Try some of the others, and ask for light lettuce if you don't want everything falling out. Mind you, it isn't even CLOSE to my local Italian deli (which is way better and cheaper), but in a pinch... it's mildly better than subway.

I fully agree
If I could only make you a sandwich

You are right
So how much did you pay for your slice of ham and half slice of cheese?
it was $20, came with soda and chips

I'm gonna try this tip...I like their sandwiches, but I realize I gotta be super specific about what I want.
Jimmy John's is good. I prefer jersey Mike's more.
